Lexicon Bank Expands Executive Leadership Team to Support Growth

Lexicon Bank, one of Southern Nevada’s fastest-growing community banks, announced strategic enhancements to its executive leadership team on Monday to support continued growth and its long-term vision.

The leadership changes include the appointments of Diane York as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Karla Wright as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer & Chief Information Officer, along with the promotions of Hilary Nelson to Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer and Leo Moschioni to Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer.

The expanded leadership structure reflects Lexicon Bank’s continued evolution, strengthening its ability to serve clients, manage growth, and address the increasing complexity of a growing financial institution. As community banks scale, responsibilities across finance, operations, risk, compliance, credit, and technology often become more interconnected, making coordinated executive oversight an important part of day-to-day execution. The appointments of York and Wright also underscore the bank’s ability to attract experienced banking leaders with deep roots in the community as it continues expanding its presence throughout Southern Nevada.

“The growth we have experienced over the nearly seven years since we opened our doors has created an opportunity to further strengthen our leadership team and position Lexicon Bank for the future,” said Stacy Watkins, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lexicon Bank. “Diane and Karla are two of the most respected banking executives in Southern Nevada, and we are thrilled they have chosen to join Lexicon Bank at this important stage in our growth. Their experience, leadership, and deep understanding of our market will have an immediate impact on our organization. Combined with the outstanding leadership of Leo and Hilary, we have assembled an executive team that is well-positioned to help us continue delivering exceptional service to our clients, while supporting the next chapter of Lexicon’s growth.”

Diane York joins Lexicon Bank as EVP and Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the bank’s financial strategy, financial reporting, budgeting, and enterprise financial management. She brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience, including service as Chief Financial Officer at Meadows Bank, where she played a key role in strategic planning, enterprise risk management, and improvements to financial reporting. Earlier in her career, York worked at RSM, a global assurance, tax, and consulting firm, where she advised community banks and financial institutions throughout the western United States and led numerous financial systems and technology modernization initiatives.

Karla Wright joins Lexicon Bank as EVP and Chief Operations Officer & Chief Information Officer, where she will oversee operations and information technology. With more than 30 years of banking experience, Wright brings expertise in operational leadership, technology strategy, regulatory compliance, and organizational performance. Before joining Lexicon Bank, she served as Executive Vice President and Branch Administrator at Meadows Bank and has held leadership roles across community and regional banking organizations in Nevada and Arizona.

As part of the leadership realignment, Hilary Nelson has been promoted to EVP and Chief Risk Officer. Previously serving as Director of Operations and Compliance, Nelson will now lead the bank’s enterprise risk management and compliance functions, helping ensure Lexicon Bank maintains the governance and risk management practices that support sustainable growth.

Lexicon Bank also announced the promotion of Leo Moschioni to Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. A member of the bank’s founding leadership team, Moschioni has played an instrumental role in the institution’s success since its inception and will continue leading its credit strategy while serving in an expanded executive leadership role.

“The Board of Directors is proud of the strong organization Lexicon Bank has built in support of our community. We’re excited about the opportunities that lie ahead,” said Russell Rosenblum, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “These leadership appointments and promotions reflect our commitment to building a world-class banking organization while preserving the relationship culture that distinguishes Lexicon Bank in our market.”

By aligning key areas of the organization under experienced leadership, Lexicon Bank said it is strengthening collaboration, enhancing decision-making, and reinforcing the foundation needed to support its continued growth, client-focused approach, and the communities it serves.
