President Donald Trump appeared to experience "multiple" neurological incidents during a recent high-profile address, according to a body language expert who described the episodes as among the "most significant" he has witnessed so far.

Dr. John Paul Garrison, a clinical and forensic psychologist and body language specialist, produces numerous videos offering professional insights into the behavior of major public figures. Over the past several months, he has examined Trump during various speeches and appearances, identifying what he describes as many signs of significant neurological decline — at one point even suggesting the president may have suffered a stroke sometime last year. His assessments come from close, slow-motion review of footage from public appearances, presented as his professional interpretation of what the clips show.

In his latest video, Garrison turned his attention to Trump's address to the 81st session of the United Nations in New York City this week. The General Assembly's annual high-level week brings heads of state and government to New York, and the U.S. president's address is traditionally among the most closely watched moments of the gathering. While much of the media coverage centered on the speech's alarming rhetoric, the psychologist identified multiple incidents of what he characterized as "seizure activity" from the president, continuing a pattern he has highlighted in several recent videos.

"Over the past several months, I've been showing President Trump's steep neurological decline, and I've done a couple of videos over the past several weeks showing what was likely seizure activity," Garrison said. "That's what we're going to be looking at today. The most significant of that activity that I have seen yet."

Examining footage from Trump's U.N. address, Garrison singled out a "distinct neurological event" that was immediately followed by a second. In the first instance, Trump appears to jerk slightly while briefly closing his eyes. Playing the clip in slow motion, Garrison observed that the activity seemed to move "from his right arm to his eyes to his mouth to his left arm," a progression he said matches the behavior of a specific type of seizure he has suspected the president of experiencing in recent weeks: a focal motor seizure. Focal seizures, as the term is broadly used in neurology, begin in one limited area of the brain and can produce localized muscle activity.

In the second instance, Trump's upper body appears to spasm more dramatically as the movement follows a similar path. Garrison also noted that Trump seemed to speak more rapidly after the spasm, suggesting that he "was actually very scared for a moment there, because he starts picking up the way he's speaking."

"I think that was very noticeable, very alarming, and also very out of control," Garrison explained. "So, if you're wondering what can cause abnormal motor activity like what we're observing, something like having a stroke can cause people to develop focal epilepsy, and then they regularly have these types of seizures."

He later concluded: "As I've said in many videos now, we do continue to observe a steep neurological decline. It does appear to be progressing, because I would say that what we saw today is worse than what we've been observing. I plan to continue to do videos on this because I do believe that his judgment is actually going to get worse. His speech is going to get worse, and I think we're going to see a lot more activity just like what we saw during this speech."
