ATLANTIC, GULF & PACIFIC Company of Manila, Inc. (AG&P Industrial) has broken ground on an 85-hectare module fabrication yard in San Pascual, Batangas, with operations targeted to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027.

The engineering and infrastructure company said in a statement on Monday that the facility will have an annual fabrication capacity of 80,000 metric tons.

AG&P Industrial held the groundbreaking ceremony for the project on July 24.

“Construction is expected to commence soon, with target fabrication readiness by late Q4 (fourth quarter) 2026 and quayside operations slated for Q4 2027,” the company said.

The facility will manufacture modular components that can be transported and assembled at project sites. It will serve industries including oil and gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), renewable energy, power, refining, chemicals, digital infrastructure, and other industrial sectors.

For industrial projects, a larger fabrication yard can help concentrate work in one controlled site before modules are shipped to their final destination, which is why yards with wharf access and load-out capacity are often positioned as part of broader project delivery networks.

“Our new world-class yard in San Pascual is a strategic investment for our future, with ability to execute over half-billion-dollar value projects annually from around the world,” AG&P Industrial President and Chief Executive Officer Alexander Leo Gamboa said.

According to the company, the facility will use Modstruction, AG&P Industrial’s proprietary execution system, which is designed to reduce project costs and shorten delivery schedules.

The company said the system shifts more construction work to a controlled fabrication environment, allowing skilled workers to build modules to multiple international standards before shipment.

The San Pascual facility will also feature a dedicated wharf, assembly areas, specialized load-out facilities, and potential drydock capabilities.

AG&P Industrial said the facility is expected to help reduce supply chain bottlenecks for industrial infrastructure projects while lowering their carbon footprint.

The company specializes in engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning, operations and maintenance, and technical services. It also operates a heavy fabrication yard in Bauan, Batangas.
