This is HISTORIC.
Bitcoin has never DECOUPLED from global M2 like this.
For over a decade, one rule held: when the money supply goes UP, Bitcoin goes UP.
Historically, BTC and M2 move together 83% of all 12-month periods.
This time, it broke.
Global M2 is at RECORD highs, up +7.2% in a year.
Meanwhile, $BTC trades near $64k, down -44.6% over the same period.
That's a massive 52 ppt gap.
In simple terms, more money is entering the financial system BUT it's not flowing into BTC.
The only other time BTC split from M2 (2021), it crashed 55% from $65K to $29K in 10 weeks.
And it later bounced back to a new high in 4 months.
This time, it's been 10 months... and counting -
the longest M2 break in Bitcoin’s history.
BTC has now crashed 48% from its $126K peak, with no bounce in sight.
The most reliable signal in crypto just broke.
NOBODY knows what happens next.
