Curve Finance Founder Questions Pumpfun and Phantom Wallet Experience
Curve Finance founder Michael Egorov criticized Pumpfun as “a casino of scams called memecoins” and said Phantom’s hardware-wallet experience was worse than MetaMask’s. He also said Solana supports its ecosystem well, but its best examples are not particularly strong.
ClawPump co-founder Tomi204 responded that Pumpfun only provides a service, while users decide how to use it, and said Phantom may be the best option for average users. Egorov later argued that wallets and other software often degrade after gaining market recognition.
