Vibe Hotels has broadened its presence across Metro Manila with the official opening of its Alabang branch, as the hospitality arm of Sun Group of Companies continues to bring its accommodations and dining concepts to a wider range of travelers.
Vibe Hotel Alabang held its ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Sun Group of Companies executives, government officials, corporate partners, and other invited guests. Leading the ceremony were Chief Operating Officer Simon Tan, Executive Vice-President Ida Ang, Managing Directors Kevin Richard Lim and Isabelle Lim, Vibe Hotels General Manager Tiago Abreu, and Chief Finance Officer Roselle Lagura.
Situated in Muntinlupa City, the Alabang property features modern accommodations, contemporary amenities, and dining concepts designed to provide guests with a comfortable stay and a vibrant hospitality experience. Alabang is one of southern Metro Manila's established commercial and residential hubs, home to business parks, retail centers, and corporate offices, making it a strategic location for a hotel brand targeting both business and leisure travelers.
The launch is part of Sun Group of Companies' broader strategy to grow its hospitality portfolio. A second new property, Vibe Hotel Buendia, is scheduled for a soft opening on August 8 in Buendia, Manila, extending the brand's reach into another key commercial district within Metro Manila. The Buendia corridor connects major business areas including Makati and Pasay, further positioning Vibe Hotels along high-traffic urban routes.
The twin openings come as the Philippine hospitality sector continues to expand, driven by domestic tourism, corporate travel, and events activity in the National Capital Region. Mid-tier and business-oriented hotel brands have been adding properties across Metro Manila to capture demand from both local and international guests.
"At Vibe Hotel, we believe that every stay should be more than just a place to sleep — it should be an experience," Mr. Tan said in a statement. "From comfortable rooms and seamless service to a welcoming atmosphere, we are committed to delivering exceptional value and genuine Filipino hospitality."
