Upbit Lists Conflux (CFX) Across KRW, BTC, and USDT Markets

South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit announced on July 31, 2026, that it would add Conflux Network's CFX token to its platform. The listing covers three trading markets: Korean won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT). Upbit, operated by Dunamu, ranks among South Korea's largest digital asset exchanges by trading volume, and listings on the platform have historically expanded liquidity access for tokens targeting the Korean retail market.

Upbit published the announcement at 14:00 Korea Standard Time, with trading initially scheduled to begin at 16:00 KST. The exchange had aimed to open deposit and withdrawal services within approximately 90 minutes through Conflux eSpace. However, both services were delayed and ultimately commenced at 16:45 KST.

Upbit's official Korea account shared the announcement on X:

Trading Access and Market Parameters

The KRW market enables users to trade CFX directly against the Korean won without first converting funds into Bitcoin or a stablecoin. Direct KRW pairing is notable because it lowers the barrier to entry for Korean retail participants, who represent a significant share of regional crypto trading activity. The BTC and USDT markets provide two additional crypto-based trading pairs.

According to Upbit, the three reference prices for CFX as of 13:30 KST were 58.25 won, 0.00000062 BTC, and 0.04044 USDT. The exchange stated that it used CoinMarketCap prices to establish opening trading restrictions.

Upbit prohibited all buy orders for the first five minutes after trading initiation and blocked any sell orders priced more than 10% below the previous closing price. Limit orders were permitted only during the first two hours of trading.

Deposit and Withdrawal Requirements

Deposits and withdrawals for CFX are supported exclusively through Conflux eSpace, the network's EVM-compatible layer. Upbit warned that tokens deposited via Core Space or any other unsupported network will not be automatically credited, and that the recovery process may be lengthy with no guarantee of success.

CFX Market Data and Tokenomics

At the time of writing, Conflux (CFX) was trading at approximately $0.04077, down 0.64% over the preceding 24 hours. Trading volume reached roughly $70 million, reflecting an increase of approximately 1,041.62%, while market capitalization stood near $212 million. The sharp volume increase followed the Upbit listing announcement, consistent with patterns observed when major exchanges add new trading pairs.

Conflux Network's genesis allocation began with 5 billion CFX, distributed among the Ecosystem Fund, founders, private investors, the Community Fund, and the Conflux Foundation. Most vesting periods have since expired. The total supply is projected to range between approximately 5.2 billion and 5.7 billion CFX, with token burns partially offsetting moderate annual inflation.

Conflux Expands PayFi Ecosystem

Conflux Network's competitive positioning has strengthened through several recent developments. Conflux is a Layer-1 blockchain that employs a Tree-Graph consensus mechanism designed to deliver high throughput while maintaining compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, a combination aimed at supporting payment and decentralized finance applications. In June 2026, Fireblocks added custody support for CFX. The expansion of Conflux's PayFi ecosystem — combining blockchain infrastructure with payment services — has also included integration with the Infini stablecoin, a collaboration with Alchemy Pay, and the introduction of BitUnion cards for global payments.

Conflux Network plans to release its next major upgrade, version 3.0, in August 2026, which is expected to increase network throughput. The ecosystem fund has allocated 500 million CFX to PayFi ecosystem development, with further wallet integrations anticipated throughout the second half of 2026. The proximity of the Upbit listing to the v3.0 upgrade places additional attention on whether expanded exchange access and improved network capacity translate into measurable growth in on-chain activity.
