Trump Memecoin Holders Invited to Third Exclusive Dinner as Token Trades 97% Below Peak
Key Takeaways
- •The Nov. 22 dinner will admit the top 185 TRUMP holders ranked by a leaderboard measuring token holdings and holding duration from Sept. 30 through a Nov. 12 eligibility snapshot, with the top 29 receiving VIP access and-row seating and four earning Trump-branded gold watches.
- •TRUMP traded near $2.04 on Oct. 1, approximately 97% below its peak of about $74 reached shortly after its January 2025 launch, and rose nearly 10% on the dinner announcement before returning near its previous level.
- •A July Nansen analysis of nearly 989,000 wallets found holders lost a combined $3.81 billion through the end of June, with about two-thirds of TRUMP buyers losing money and most gains going to early purchasers.
- •Trump's financial disclosure reported a $636 million payout connected to the memecoin and at least $1.4 billion in total crypto-related income, while two Trump-linked companies own 80% of the total token supply under a three-year unlocking schedule.
- •Senators Elizabeth Warren, Adam Schiff and Richard Blumenthal have raised conflict-of-interest concerns and asked the SEC to investigate possible fraud or improper insider gains, and the Senate's Sept. 15 failure to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act leaves crypto oversight unresolved heading into the event.

President Donald Trump is set to host a third dinner for holders of his memecoin on Nov. 22 at Trump National in Washington, D.C., according to the event page published by Fight Fight Fight LLC, the company that manages the Official Trump token, known by the ticker TRUMP.
The dinner will be open to the top 185 holders, ranked through a leaderboard that measures both token holdings and the length of time participants hold them. The scoring period runs from Sept. 30 through Nov. 12, with the snapshot determining eligibility scheduled for Nov. 12, 10 days before the event. Because the window closes with that snapshot, the leaderboard can continue to shift until 10 days before the dinner.
The top 29 ranked holders will receive VIP access and front-row seating. Four of the highest-ranked participants will also receive gold watches bearing the Trump name. Other listed gifts include a fragrance, a trading card and a commemorative poster. Residents of several sanctioned countries, including Russia, Iran and North Korea, are excluded from the event.

Third Dinner Since Token Launch
The November gathering will be the third such event since the token launched. The first was held in May 2025 for 220 holders at the same Washington golf club. The second took place at Mar-a-Lago in Florida in April 2026 and attracted 297 guests. Former boxer Mike Tyson appeared at that event.
Organizers say Trump will attend the November dinner with three guests described as “legends.” Their identities have not been announced. The event page also says that attendees will not receive private meetings with the president. Some guests at previous dinners had complained that they barely saw Trump.
TRUMP Price and Reported Investor Losses
TRUMP traded near $2.04 on Oct. 1, approximately 97% below its peak of about $74, reached shortly after the token’s launch in January 2025. The token’s price rose nearly 10% immediately after the dinner was announced before later returning near its previous level. The token is also tracked on CoinGecko.
A Nansen analysis published in July found that holders had lost a combined $3.81 billion through the end of June. The study examined nearly 989,000 wallets and reported that about two-thirds of TRUMP buyers lost money. Fewer than 500,000 wallets were profitable, and most of the gains went to early buyers.
Trump’s own financial disclosure reported a $636 million payout connected to the memecoin and at least $1.4 billion in total crypto-related income. The X post announcing the dinner said Trump had “pocketed $635 million.”
Two companies linked to Trump are listed on the project’s website as owning 80% of the total token supply. Their holdings are subject to a three-year unlocking schedule. That structure leaves the bulk of the supply with Trump-linked companies even as dinner access is distributed through the holder leaderboard.
Public Citizen, a nonprofit watchdog group, estimated in August that investors in Trump family crypto projects were $4.7 billion underwater since 2022. The organization attributed $3.2 billion of that amount to the memecoin alone.
Senators Seek Investigation and Raise Ethics Concerns
Senators Elizabeth Warren, Adam Schiff and Richard Blumenthal sent a letter after the April dinner seeking information about attendee vetting and the event’s financial arrangements. They argued that the dinners create conflicts of interest.
In August, Warren and Blumenthal asked the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate whether the token involved fraud or improper insider gains. The agency has not announced enforcement action related to the request.
Senator Chris Coons called the November event “corruption” in a Bluesky post this week.
The announcement came after the Senate failed last month to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, legislation that would have established rules for how federal agencies oversee cryptocurrencies. Democratic senators said an ethics provision intended to limit officials’ crypto ties was insufficient. All Democrats present voted against the bill on Sept. 15. Both the SEC request and the stalled market-structure bill therefore remain unresolved heading into the Nov. 22 dinner.
