TRON Reports $2.08 Trillion in Stablecoin Settlement Volume in Q2 2026

TRON processed $2.08 trillion in stablecoin settlement volume during the second quarter of 2026, underscoring the network’s role in digital-asset payments and stablecoin transfers. The blockchain recorded 1.1 billion transactions during the quarter, a 12% increase from the previous quarter.

Daily active addresses averaged 4.2 million, while the number of network nodes rose 18% quarter over quarter to 8,291. The network’s stablecoin supply stood at approximately $89 billion during the period.

TRON reported 16.4 million active addresses during the quarter, with the average number of daily active addresses exceeding 4.2 million. The combination of transaction growth, user activity and expanding infrastructure reflects activity across TRON-based financial applications and stablecoin settlement.

Stablecoins support transfers, trading, payments and settlement on blockchain networks. They are digital tokens designed to maintain relatively stable values against traditional currencies. The reported figures therefore describe several different aspects of network use: settlement volume measures the value transferred, while transaction and address data indicate activity and participation across the network.

MetaMask Connectivity Expands

TRON expanded MetaMask connectivity to several additional decentralized applications, including BAI_AGI, OfficialSUNio, DeFi_JUST and BitTorrent, according to an announcement by TRON on Sept. 10.

The broader connectivity enables MetaMask users to interact with applications operating within the TRON ecosystem. For developers, compatibility with widely used wallet infrastructure provides another route for users to access decentralized applications and blockchain-based services.

The expansion comes as TRON continues to develop its ecosystem around decentralized finance, payments and digital-asset transfers. Greater wallet interoperability can reduce friction for users moving between applications and support access to network-based services. Future assessments of the expansion can therefore look at whether the newly connected applications generate additional user activity and transaction use within the ecosystem.

Solana Leads Blockchain Application Revenue

Elsewhere in the blockchain market, Solana ranked first in daily application revenue on Sept. 9, generating $5.09 million across applications built on the network. The figure was approximately 54% higher than the $3.3 million recorded by BNB Smart Chain.

Robinhood Chain ranked third with $3.24 million, followed by Hyperliquid L1 at $1.95 million and Ethereum at $1.52 million. Across the tracked networks, total application revenue reached $15.1 million for the day, leaving Solana responsible for roughly one-third of the total.

Application revenue measures fees paid by users to interact with decentralized applications, trading platforms, lending protocols, games and other blockchain-based services. Unlike transaction counts alone, the measure can indicate how much users are paying for application activity. Because the figures cover a single day, continued readings would be needed to determine whether the ranking persists.

Solana applications generated $5.09 million in daily revenue, giving the network a 54% lead over BNB Smart Chain and making it the largest contributor among the tracked networks.

Solana has also recorded significant network activity in recent months. According to the Solana Foundation’s August data, the network processed a record 216 million non-vote transactions in a single day in August and 1.32 billion during the week of Aug. 17-23.

Tokenized assets also reached new levels on Solana. The network’s real-world asset value exceeded $4 billion across more than 350,000 addresses, while the Solana Foundation reported that xStocks surpassed $500 million in assets under management.

Chainlink Reserve Continues to Grow

Chainlink added 91,100 LINK, worth approximately $1.06 million, to its strategic reserve. The latest acquisition brought the reserve’s accumulation over the previous 30 days to about 511,000 LINK, valued at roughly $5.52 million.

The monitored reserve address now holds approximately 5.86 million LINK, worth about $67.24 million based on the reported figures.

The continued accumulation reflects an ongoing effort to expand Chainlink’s strategic holdings as demand for blockchain infrastructure and decentralized data services develops. Subsequent reserve updates will show whether the pace of accumulation continues beyond the reported 30-day period.

Taken together, the reported developments cover several areas of activity across major blockchain ecosystems: TRON’s stablecoin settlement volume and wallet connectivity, Solana’s application revenue and tokenized-asset activity, and Chainlink’s expanding token reserve. The metrics are not directly interchangeable, but they provide separate measures of settlement, application use, asset activity and infrastructure-related holdings.
