Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons has announced its latest brand collaboration, unveiling a range of themed menu items to mark the 25th anniversary of the release of the first Harry Potter film.
The Harry Potter franchise spans eight films and grossed more than US$7.7 billion in theatrical runs. Over the years, the series has also expanded into a wider universe of book, television, film and stage spin-offs.
The collaboration is the latest in a series of Tim Hortons campaigns as brands continue to use limited-time menu tie-ins to tap into established fan communities and seasonal traffic. The company also partnered with Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds for the release of limited-run menu items in 2025. At the start of 2026, it expanded its local partnership with Nutella into a broader branded menu partnership for Tim Hortons India.
“Harry Potter has been a beloved part of so many of our guests’ lives for decades and we couldn’t be more excited for Canadians to discover the wizarding world at Tims restaurants,” said Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons.
Alongside the themed menu items, Tim Hortons is also planning a Harry Potter trivia night on 28 August, adding an in-store event component to the promotion. Participating locations had not been confirmed at the time of writing.
The Harry Potter campaign is set to begin on 12 August.
