STO Chain is preparing to launch a mainnet-based RWA (Real World Assets) Marketplace as part of its Web3 infrastructure expansion strategy. The initiative aims to bridge physical and traditional financial assets with blockchain networks through STO Chain's proprietary mainnet and its broader digital asset ecosystem. Real World Asset tokenization has become a growing area of focus in the blockchain industry, with projects seeking to represent ownership of tangible assets such as real estate, commodities, and securities on-chain. Major global financial institutions have also moved into the space, with firms such as BlackRock and Franklin Templeton launching tokenized treasury funds on public blockchains, signaling broader institutional engagement with on-chain asset representation.
Alongside the marketplace development, STO Chain reported that its consumer-facing STO Network app has surpassed 100,000 cumulative registered users and recorded more than 100,000 downloads. The company described the milestone as evidence of increasing mainstream adoption and the project's role in connecting general users with Web3-based services.
STOC, the native mainnet token of STO Chain, has experienced rapid growth since its entry into the South Korean market. According to company data, within six months of launch in Korea, the token's holder base expanded to a ratio equivalent to approximately one STOC holder per 500 people in the country. South Korea has emerged as one of the most active digital asset markets globally, with consistently high levels of cryptocurrency trading volume and retail participation. The country has also been developing a formal regulatory framework for digital assets, having implemented the Virtual Asset User Protection Act in July 2024, which established investor protection requirements and anti-market-abuse rules for virtual asset service providers.
STO Chain stated that it plans to continue expanding its ecosystem around RWA, STO (Security Token Offering), and digital asset infrastructure as development of the RWA Marketplace progresses toward mainnet deployment.
