Securitize attracted attention Thursday after launching digital versions of U.S.-listed stocks, a development that helped drive the company’s shares up by about 10%. The new product, Securitize Stocks, allows qualified investors to trade tokenized securities while retaining dividend rights.
The launch marks another development in the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs), which involves bringing traditional financial products onto blockchain networks. Securitize Stocks initially includes Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Tesla and eight other publicly traded U.S. companies, a lineup that features several of the largest U.S.-listed companies by market value.
According to Securitize’s announcement, each token represents a 1:1 interest in the underlying stock share Initial trading will take place through Securitize’s registered broker-dealer platform and will be available during extended U.S. market hours.

How Securitize’s Tokenized Stocks Work on Solana
Securitize’s tokenized-stock offering combines securities-law provisions with blockchain settlement. The company says the tokens are treated as security entitlements under Article 8 of the Uniform Commercial Code, which sets out legal rights connected with securities and also underpins how conventional brokerages hold customer securities.
That structure is intended to preserve shareholders’ rights and privileges rather than provide only economic exposure to a stock’s price. The tokens will be available through USD Coin (USDC) on Solana, using the blockchain to execute trades.
Jump Trading will provide market-making services for the newly issued assets. At launch, tokenized shares will be tradable outside the U.S. market’s regular operating hours. Securitize is also developing its system to support continuous, 24/7 trading of the tokens.
The company is evaluating additional venues for its tokenized securities, including platforms created by the New York Stock Exchange and OKXICE. Securitize has not stated when either platform will become available.
Ripple Prime and Aave May Broaden Use Cases
Securitize is also examining ways to connect tokenized stocks with institutional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi). Ripple Prime is expected to support the securities’ launch and is considering how the tokens could be integrated into services for institutional customers. The companies have not disclosed further details about the planned integration.
Aave has been identified as another possible venue for using tokenized stocks as collateral. If implemented, the arrangement could allow eligible users to pledge tokenized shares in loan transactions rather than relying solely on crypto assets. However, this use case is not currently confirmed as active.
Potential integrations with institutional and DeFi platforms could expand the function of Securitize Stocks beyond conventional investment. They also reflect Securitize’s effort to examine how traditional financial instruments can be used across different blockchain networks.
Securitize Shares Extend Monthly Gains
Securitize shares rose nearly 8% on Tuesday after the company announced a partnership with South Korea’s LG CNS to explore tokenized funds, equities and stablecoins for financial institutions.
The partnership followed a September agreement with Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority to support regulated tokenization projects. Yahoo Finance reported that Securitize shares had gained about 54% over the previous month.
The Solana launch adds to Securitize’s efforts to bring traditional financial assets onto blockchain networks. The company’s announcement concerns global on-chain trading of U.S. stocks through security entitlements.
Tokenized Real-World Assets Continue to Grow
The Securitize launch comes as tokenized real-world assets gain wider attention within the digital-asset sector. RWA.xyz reported that the total value of distributed tokenized assets, excluding stablecoins, reached $38.88 billion on Thursday, up from $25.36 billion a year earlier — an increase of roughly 53%.
Tokenized stocks have also continued to expand on Solana. Based on reported figures, Solana’s tokenized-stock market recorded approximately $4.4 billion in trading volume during September 2026, while the supply of tokenized stocks stood at $684 million — a fraction of the broader tokenized-asset market.
Regulatory developments could influence the sector’s growth. On September 17, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission issued a temporary five-year exemption covering certain on-chain transactions involving tokenized U.S. stocks.
The exemption is limited to specified activities and does not mean that all tokenized stocks have been approved. The development of Securitize Stocks on Solana will therefore depend on applicable regulations, potential integrations with Ripple Prime and Aave, and adoption by eligible investors. Markers to watch include whether the Aave collateral arrangement is activated, when additional venues such as the NYSE and OKXICE platforms go live, and whether the initial lineup of 12 stocks expands.
