Oracle and Google Cloud have expanded their partnership to make Google's Gemini models available across Oracle's enterprise applications, giving customers greater choice when building AI agents and automating business processes.

Under the agreement, Oracle plans to integrate Gemini models into its Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, enabling customers and partners to use them alongside models from other AI providers when developing agents and agentic applications.

The integration will include Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite, designed for high-efficiency and price-performance workloads, as well as Gemini 3.5 Flash, aimed at more complex reasoning and specialized tasks such as video and presentation creation. The models are expected to sit alongside Oracle's existing selection of AI models in AI Agent Studio, allowing customers to select models based on specific workload and cost requirements.

"Our expanded partnership with Oracle is designed to make it easier for organizations to use Gemini in the applications and agentic workflows they rely on to automate workflows, accelerate decisions, and drive outcomes," said Satish Thomas, vice president at Google, in a release.

The integration reflects a broader push by Oracle to position its enterprise software platforms as a foundation for agentic AI. Oracle's Fusion Applications suite competes with offerings from SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft in the large enterprise applications market. AI Agent Studio enables organizations to build and connect reusable agents — including Oracle, partner, and external agents — and deploy them within Fusion Applications. Oracle said Gemini will give customers expanded multimodal capabilities as they build these applications. The multi-model approach aligns with a wider enterprise trend in which organizations seek to avoid dependence on a single AI provider and instead route tasks to models based on cost, performance, and capability fit.

Chris Leone, executive vice president of Oracle Applications and AI, said the integration provides organizations with flexibility to choose different models depending on the task.

"By bringing Gemini to Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, we are giving customers and partners greater choice as they build and extend agents and agentic applications that reason through complex, real-world business challenges," Leone said in a statement.
