Michigan Credit Union League Partners with Rippleshot to Strengthen Fraud Prevention for Credit Unions

The Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) has selected Rippleshot to join its Michigan Solutions partner network, providing member credit unions across the state with enhanced tools to combat fraud and safeguard their members. The partnership reflects a broader industry pattern in which state credit union leagues curate preferred vendor relationships, giving smaller institutions access to enterprise-grade technology they might not evaluate or procure independently.

Under the partnership, Michigan credit unions now have access to two complementary fraud prevention platforms from Rippleshot: Fraud Interceptor and the Fraud Intelligence Collective. Together, these solutions are designed to help credit unions detect and intercept fraudulent activity before it escalates. They aim to protect members from scams, account takeovers, and fraudulent mobile provisioning while also connecting fraud professionals to a nationwide, real-time intelligence network. Real-time collaborative data sharing has become a growing priority for community and mid-sized financial institutions, which often face the same fraud campaigns as larger banks but with fewer dedicated analytics resources.

"Fraud continues to evolve, and so must the tools available to credit unions," said Patty Corkery, President/CEO of MCUL. "One of our priorities is connecting Michigan credit unions with trusted solutions that help them better serve and protect their members. Rippleshot gives our credit unions access to proactive fraud intelligence that can help them respond faster, reduce losses and stay ahead of emerging threats."

"Credit union fraud teams are being asked to prevent more fraud with the same headcount, while losses keep climbing every year," said Canh Tran, CEO and Co-Founder of Rippleshot. "MCUL has a long history of innovation leadership, and we are thrilled to partner with them and give their credit unions two proven tools to fight fraud."

To mark the launch of the partnership, MCUL and Rippleshot will co-host a free webinar for Michigan credit unions on Monday, August 11, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The session will offer an overview of Rippleshot's fraud prevention solutions and detail a complimentary 30-day trial of Fraud Interceptor®, which requires no software integration. The trial allows credit unions to evaluate the platform's effectiveness within their existing fraud prevention operations.

Michigan credit unions can register for the webinar through their MCUL representative or by visiting rippleshot.com.
