Institutional traders do not operate the way retail participants do. The stakes are different, the mandates are stricter, and operational requirements extend far beyond a fast connection and a mobile app. When a hedge fund, proprietary trading desk or asset manager evaluates a crypto venue, it works through a detailed checklist before any meaningful capital moves.
