Hyundai E&C said Wednesday it has introduced the X-ble Shoulder exoskeleton, an industrial wearable device developed by Hyundai Motor Group Robotics Lab, for the first time in the construction sector.

The builder said the device is designed to help workers performing repetitive overhead tasks, a type of work common on job sites and one that can place strain on the shoulders and upper body. According to the builder, the wearable device is expected to alleviate fatigue from repetitive tasks, improve concentration, lower the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and enhance overall work efficiency.
