A steakhouse in Hollywood, Florida, is hosting a monthly dinner event where guests are invited to dine fully unclothed, and both the owner and the event's host are defending the concept as a legitimate fine-dining experience.

C.L.A.S.S. Soiree Steakhouse, located in Hollywood, Florida — a city in Broward County situated between Miami and Fort Lauderdale — holds the clothing-optional dinner on the first Monday of each month. Guests arrive dressed but are free to disrobe after entering the restaurant, according to Tasheba Hart, who organizes and hosts the monthly gatherings.

Florida has long had an active naturist community, with established clothing-optional resorts and events concentrated in parts of the state, making the concept less anomalous locally than it might appear elsewhere in the country.

Hart told Fox News Digital during an interview on Wednesday, sitting alongside Chef Maurad Ali, the steakhouse's owner, that she personally goes "totally nude" at the event. She noted, however, that "if it gets a little chilly" she will don a robe.

Only Hart and the attending guests are undressed during the dinner, she clarified. The restaurant's chefs and servers remain "fully clothed" throughout the event.

Chef Ali explained that Hart does not work at the steakhouse during regular operating days. Instead, she serves as the "head" of the nude dining events, handling ticket sales and giving the restaurant a cut of the proceeds. The arrangement reflects a common private-event model in the hospitality industry, where outside organizers rent venue space and manage ticketing independently.

Tickets are priced at $150 for an individual woman, $250 for an individual man, or $300 for two people attending together. Hart described the gathering as "a fine-dining experience."

Ali offered a concise summary of the unconventional concept: "This is not your grandpa's steakhouse."
