DUBAI, UAE, Aug. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, said its exclusive RLUSD Hold & Earn program is moving into Phase 2 as it extends its partnership with Ripple. The upgraded Bybit Earn campaign now offers daily rewards in both XRP and RLUSD, with total annualized returns increasing based on holding duration.

Bybit said the RLUSD Hold & Earn program, which launched in July this year, accumulated more than $50 million in Assets Under Custody (AUC) within 11 days. The campaign attracted users with its simple structure, flexibility, and low-friction format. Eligible Bybit users can hold RLUSD without staking or lock-up requirements, a setup the company said has drawn demand from holders seeking stable yield opportunities. Flexible, no-lock-up earn products of this kind have become a standard competitive tool for major exchanges seeking to attract and retain stablecoin balances, and the XRP reward component ties Bybit's offering directly to the XRP Ledger ecosystem, where XRP is the native asset.

Phase 2 highlights

The second phase keeps the same user experience while adding new benefits, including APR multipliers for holders based on both volume and holding period:

• Dual-token rewards: Participants can now earn RLUSD at a competitive base APR and XRP with bonus APR daily.
• XRP base APR multiplier: Users who keep their holdings for 30 days or more receive up to a 2x bonus on the XRP portion, more than doubling the potential total APR.
• No lock-up: There is no subscription or lock-up. Holding RLUSD is enough to earn APR automatically.

Bybit said XRP rewards are provided to the Bybit community through Ripple's milestone-based incentive program, allowing holders to benefit from Ripple ecosystem assets. Exchange-integrated incentive campaigns of this kind have become a common distribution channel for stablecoin issuers building circulation beyond their native networks.

RLUSD is a USD-backed stablecoin issued by Ripple. It launched in December 2024 with approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services, entering a market long dominated by Tether's USDT and Circle's USDC, where combined stablecoin circulation has exceeded $200 billion. It is natively issued on XRP Ledger, Ethereum, and other blockchains, and is fully backed by a segregated reserve of cash and cash equivalents. The token is redeemable 1:1 for US dollars. Bybit said RLUSD is a regulated, reserve-backed digital asset that offers the price stability of traditional cash in onchain form. Issuers in the United States are also operating under clearer ground rules following the GENIUS Act, the federal payment-stablecoin law signed in July 2025, which established reserve and oversight standards for the sector.
