Robinhood Chain Tokenized Stock Activity Rises Fivefold to About $70 Million
Key Takeaways
- •Real-world assets on Robinhood Chain increased to about $70 million, roughly five times the level seen shortly after launch.
- •Tokenized GameStop led reported tokenized equity activity with about $26.6 million in daily volume, ahead of Nvidia and SpaceX.
- •DefiLlama data placed Robinhood Chain’s total value locked near $312 million, while daily decentralized exchange volume exceeded $600 million.
- •Memecoins remain the leading source of trading activity on the network, accounting for more than 80% of DeFi exchange volume.
- •Memecoin.Fun raised $3.5 million in strategic funding to support Robinhood Chain launchpad, cross-chain bridge, and multichain memecoin development.

Robinhood Chain has seen tokenized stock activity increase less than two weeks after launch, with real-world assets on the network rising to about $70 million and trading volumes expanding across several tokenized equities.
Recent on-chain data indicates that the network is starting to attract larger transactions in the asset category it was built to support. However, memecoins and stablecoins still account for most decentralized exchange activity on the chain, showing that tokenized equities are growing from a smaller base rather than replacing the network’s dominant trading categories.
The increase in activity has coincided with new fundraising and product plans from infrastructure projects building around Robinhood Chain, as competition grows for access to its expanding user base and trading volumes.
Tokenized stocks gain traction on Robinhood Chain
DefiLlama data showed that real-world assets on Robinhood Chain climbed to approximately $70 million, a fivefold increase from the low tens of millions of dollars recorded shortly after the network launched. Earlier, tokenized assets represented only about 4% of network activity, while memecoins and stablecoins dominated trading.
Trading volumes have also risen across several tokenized equities. Tokenized GameStop recorded about $26.6 million in daily volume, followed by Nvidia at $14 million and SpaceX at $6.4 million. Twelve tokenized stocks now process more than $500,000 in daily trading volume, while five have surpassed $1 million.
The broader network has expanded alongside the increase in tokenized equity trading. DefiLlama data placed total value locked near $312 million after tripling since mid-July. Daily decentralized exchange volume has also moved above $600 million, while Token Terminal reported more than 138 million transactions over the past 30 days.
Those metrics are being watched because tokenized stocks and other real-world assets are one of the main use cases crypto networks have promoted for bringing traditional financial instruments on-chain. For Robinhood Chain, the near-term test is whether that activity continues to broaden beyond a small set of high-volume names while competing with faster-moving memecoin markets for liquidity and developer attention.
Despite the increase in tokenized equities, speculative assets remain the main driver of activity. DEX Screener data showed trending tokens including Hoodrat, Vladhood, and Swole Doge ranking ahead of tokenized stocks by trading volume.
Funding and competition increase around the network
Robinhood Chain’s rising activity has also drawn infrastructure developers. Memecoin.Fun announced a $3.5 million strategic funding round led by Becker Ventures, with participation from BitValue Capital, Mason Labs, Negentropy Capital, and angel investor Billy Wen. The announcement was posted on X at https://x.com/memecoin_fun_/status/2080657419936616587?s=20.
The transaction was completed through the USDG token, although the project did not disclose its valuation or investment terms.
According to the announcement, the funding will support development of a Robinhood Chain launchpad, cross-chain bridge infrastructure, and research for a multichain platform focused on memecoins. The company did not provide launch dates for those products.
Competition on the network is also expanding. Pons recently outlined plans for its V2 upgrade, which is expected to introduce an Ether-based bonding curve, Uniswap V4 integration, ETH creator payments, and trading pairs connected to tokenized real-world assets.
Network growth draws more builders
Earlier network data showed that Robinhood Chain had locked nearly $400 million in market stablecoins and reached total value locked, or TVL, of $431 million within three weeks of launch. FalconX also said the network processes about 6 million transactions per day and has more than 250,000 daily active users.
Using Artemis data, FalconX calculated decentralized exchange volume on the platform at almost $9 billion. In some activity metrics, Robinhood Chain has also outpaced Coinbase’s Base.
Even with the growing presence of tokenized stocks, memecoins still drive more than 80% of trading on DeFi exchanges, indicating that most trading activity continues to take place in that category.
