Robinhood Chain Fees Reach $25 Million as RWA, Meme Coin and Prediction Market Activity Expands
Key Takeaways
- •Robinhood Chain generated $25 million in application fees for the week ending July 24, ranking behind only Ethereum and Solana.
- •Cash Cat is the top traded token on Robinhood Chain, with $824.89 million in lifetime volume across 1.37 million trades.
- •Daily RWA trading volume on Robinhood Chain peaked at $61.1 million on July 23, with meme coin and tokenized stock pairs making up about 75% of that activity.
- •Total RWA value on Robinhood Chain rose to $25.4 million on July 24, including $21.9 million in tokenized stocks.
- •Robinhood is discussing a potential Crypto.com prediction-market partnership, but the products remain separate from Robinhood Chain and no agreement has been reached.

Robinhood Chain ranked third in weekly application fees for the week ending July 24, as meme coins and tokenized assets traded alongside each other on the four-week-old network.
The activity comes as Robinhood pushes further into prediction markets, extending its exposure across three crypto-linked sectors: blockchain-based tokenized real-world assets, meme coin trading and event-contract markets. The mix matters because Robinhood Chain was introduced for tokenized real-world assets, but its early fee and volume data show that speculative token trading is also a major source of activity.
Application Fees Reach $25 Million
Applications on Robinhood Chain generated $25 million in fees during the week ending July 24, according to CryptoRank. Only Ethereum (ETH), with $45 million, and Solana (SOL), with $39 million, ranked higher over the same period.
“Robinhood Chain’s third-place position makes it one of the strongest blockchain launches in recent years,” CryptoRank said.
Application fees are commonly used as a measure of how much users are paying to interact with services on a network, separate from headline metrics such as token prices or total value locked. For a new layer-2 network, that makes the fee ranking a useful snapshot of early user demand, though it does not show whether activity is concentrated in long-term asset use or short-term trading.
Robinhood built the layer-2 network for tokenized real-world assets (RWA), but early activity on the chain shows a broader trading mix. According to Dune data, Cash Cat (CASHCAT) is the top traded token on the network.
The meme coin has recorded $824.89 million in lifetime volume across 1.37 million trades. Tokenized assets are also expanding on the network, though much of the activity has involved trading pairs that combine meme coins and tokenized stocks rather than RWA trading alone.
Daily RWA trading volume reached a peak of $61.1 million on July 23. Meme coin and tokenized stock pairs accounted for $46.1 million of that amount, representing about 75% of the total.
The network’s tokenized asset base has grown as well. Total RWA value on Robinhood Chain rose to $25.4 million on July 24, the highest level since launch. Tokenized stocks represented $21.9 million of that total.
Prediction Markets Remain Outside the Chain
While meme coin and RWA trading continue to grow on Robinhood Chain, Robinhood is also expanding further into prediction markets through its app. The Journal reported that Robinhood is in talks with Crypto.com over a possible partnership that would allow users to trade the exchange’s yes-or-no contracts on Robinhood’s trading platform.
Robinhood began offering Kalshi contracts in early 2025. Its prediction market partners also include ForecastEx, which is owned by Interactive Brokers, and Rothera. Robinhood operates Rothera through a joint venture with Susquehanna International Group.
Those prediction-market products are separate from Robinhood Chain’s on-chain RWA and meme coin activity. For now, Robinhood’s crypto-linked expansion spans both blockchain infrastructure and app-based event contracts, with different partners and market structures behind each line of business.
Robinhood said it plans to continue working with multiple exchanges. No agreement with Crypto.com has been reached, and the discussions may not result in a deal.
