GoldArc Resources Consolidates Leonora South Gold Corridor with Niagara Tenement Acquisition
Key Takeaways
- •GoldArc Resources will acquire seven tenements in the Niagara West and North area from Regener8 Resources through an all-scrip transaction valued at $1.5 million.
- •The acquired tenements are directly adjacent to GoldArc's Leonora South gold project and create a continuous land corridor from the 48,000-ounce Orion-Sapphire mineral resource into the Niagara district.
- •Niagara West contains high-grade mineralisation ready for immediate follow-up drilling, while Niagara North offers an untested bedrock target with a well-defined geochemical anomaly.
- •The all-share deal structure means GoldArc will have no cash outflow, allowing the company to preserve capital for its ongoing exploration programs.
- •GoldArc separately acquired tenement application P40/1622, located immediately along strike of the advanced May prospect, further expanding its Kookynie goldfields position.

GoldArc Resources (ASX:GA8) has entered into a binding agreement to acquire the Niagara West and North tenement package from Regener8 Resources (ASX:R8R) for a consideration of $1.5 million in GA8 shares.
The package comprises seven tenements located directly adjacent to GoldArc's existing Leonora South gold project in the Kookynie goldfields of Western Australia. The Kookynie area sits within the broader Eastern Goldfields province of the Yilgarn Craton, Australia's most prolific gold-producing region and home to multiple multi-million-ounce orogenic gold deposits. In a separate transaction, GoldArc has also acquired tenement application P40/1622, which is situated immediately along strike of the advanced May prospect.
Managing Director Paul Stephen said the acquisitions extend GoldArc's Leonora South landholding, placing the company on a continuous corridor of ground running north from the 48,000-ounce Orion-Sapphire mineral resource and the Eclipse, Whistler, and Woodpecker high-grade discovery prospects directly into the Niagara West and North tenements.
The ground covered under the Regener8 transaction comprises two distinct prospect areas: Niagara West and Niagara North.
Stephen told shareholders that these areas share the same orogenic, vein-controlled gold system that controls mineralisation across GoldArc's existing Leonora South prospects, providing the company's technical team with a clear geological framework for ongoing exploration. This continuity of geological controls across the combined tenure is a key driver for junior explorers consolidating adjoining ground in proven districts, as it allows geophysical and geochemical data sets to be interpreted across a single structural framework rather than in isolation.
"The Regener8 transaction will, on completion, fill an important gap in our Kookynie tenure. The Niagara West tenements give us high-grade discovery results to build on, and Niagara North adds a genuinely early-stage opportunity with a compelling geochemical anomaly sitting over unexplored bedrock," Stephen said.
"Combined with our active programs at Eclipse, Whistler, Orion and Sapphire, this positions GoldArc as the most comprehensive explorer across Kookynie's Niagara district."
Stephen said the package delivers two complementary opportunities: high-grade, open mineralisation ready for immediate follow-up drilling at Niagara West, and an untested bedrock target underpinned by a well-defined geochemical footprint at Niagara North.
The all-scrip structure of the deal means no cash outflow for GoldArc, preserving capital for exploration programs while giving Regener8 shareholders exposure to any upside from the consolidated ground. The transaction remains subject to standard completion conditions.
At the time of reporting, GA8 shares were up 1.79% to 5.7 cents, with a market capitalisation of $38.35 million.
