Bybit Named to CNBC’s World’s Top Fintech Companies 2026 List

Dubai, UAE, July 27, 2026 — Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has been named to CNBC’s World’s Top Fintech Companies 2026 list in the Digital Assets category, marking another recognition for the company among firms involved in the development of global financial services.

The annual ranking, produced by CNBC in partnership with market research firm Statista, recognizes 500 fintech companies across eight industry segments. Around 3,500 companies were assessed through an aggregated scoring model that considered overall business performance as well as category-specific key performance indicators.

The announcement comes as the global fintech sector continues to expand and mature. According to McKinsey & Co., fintech companies generated approximately $650 billion in revenue in 2025, up about 21% from the previous year. McKinsey identified artificial intelligence, digital assets and greater regulatory maturity as among the forces shaping the sector’s next phase.

Bybit said its inclusion reflects its ongoing development from a cryptocurrency exchange into a broader financial platform spanning digital assets, traditional finance, payments, tokenized investments, artificial intelligence-powered tools and Web3 services.

The CNBC listing follows Bybit’s recent inclusion in the inaugural Fortune Crypto 100 in the CeFi category. That category covers crypto-first companies, including exchanges, lenders and custodians, that handle, hold or trade digital assets.

Together, the recognitions point to Bybit’s expanding role in the global financial ecosystem as digital assets become more closely connected with established markets and financial infrastructure.

Bybit serves more than 80 million users worldwide. The company has expanded its offerings across digital and traditional markets, including tokenized assets such as equities through xStocks, Bybit IPO Express, AI-powered trading and research tools, and infrastructure built for institutional market participants.

The company has also increased its regulated presence in key markets. Bybit holds a Virtual Asset Platform Operator license issued by the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority, while Bybit EU holds a license under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, issued by Austria’s Financial Market Authority. MiCA is the EU’s dedicated regulatory framework for crypto-assets, making licensing and compliance a central issue for exchanges seeking to operate across the bloc.

As regulatory clarity and institutional participation continue to develop, Bybit said it remains focused on building secure, compliant and accessible financial services. The company’s long-term vision is centered on creating a unified platform that connects users with opportunities across crypto and traditional finance.
