Asia Society hosts Asian Eats 2026

ASIA SOCIETY PHILIPPINES is set to host Asian Eats 2026, its flagship culinary festival, at Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong from Aug. 7 to 9. The three-day event will bring together the flavors, traditions, and diverse cultures of Asia under one roof. By turning the mall’s Grand Atrium into a cultural venue, Asian Eats 2026 will feature authentic culinary showcases, live cultural performances, and interactive activities.

The festival will gather diplomatic missions, cultural institutions, local businesses, and food enthusiasts to celebrate Asian culinary heritage. Visitors can sample authentic dishes and specialty products presented by participating embassies and their partner merchants, including Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.

There will also be demonstrations by chef LV Wei of the Embassy of China, the Indian Women in Enterprise, Coco Mama, Kikkoman featuring chef Bruce Lim, and NutriAsia with chef Gerick Manalo, each highlighting distinct flavors, techniques, and culinary traditions from across Asia. McCafé releases new Coco Mocha coffee selections

McDonald’s Philippines is introducing new McCafé Coco Mocha coffee selections for a limited time. The lineup combines coffee with creamy coconut and chocolate notes in three drinks: Iced Coffee Coco Mocha, which blends McCafé Iced Coffee, chocolate, and coconut; Iced Latte Coco Mocha, which combines smooth espresso and milk with mocha and coconut flavors; and Cafe Latte Coco Mocha, the hot version.

The new selections are available for dine-in, take-out, drive-through, McDelivery, and food apps. Iced Latte Coco Mocha and Cafe Latte Coco Mocha are available in select stores only.

Jollibee launches two new collectibles

Jollibee is launching two limited-edition collectibles themed around two everyday moments many Filipinos enjoy: family road trips and imaginative playtime.

One is the Jolly Snack Cup, an exclusive drive-through collectible with a detachable snack bowl that can hold fries, chicken nuggets, or other items while keeping a regular-sized drink below. It also has a dedicated compartment for sauces and is designed to fit standard vehicle cup holders. Customers can get the Jolly Snack Cup for an additional P235 with a minimum food purchase of P349 at any Jollibee Drive-Through store nationwide until Aug. 15.

The second is the Jolly Kitchen Set, a six-piece collection that turns kids into little Jollibee crew members through interactive pretend play. The set includes the Jolly Drinks Dispenser, Chickenjoy Warmer, Choco Sundae Station, Jolly Crispy Fries Fryer, Yumburger Grill, and Jolly Cash Register, each inspired by Jollibee’s restaurant experience. Burger King joins chicken game

Burger King is launching the BK Krispper, fried chicken with its signature smoky taste. It combines crispy skin and juicy tender meat with a smoky flavor inspired by Burger King’s flame-grilled character. BK Krispper is now available in Burger King stores nationwide.
