EMCD Launches Miner Support Program Offering Up to $30M in Support for Bitcoin Miners

Panama City, Panama, July 27, 2026 — Chainwire

EMCD, a global crypto-fintech platform and one of the world’s largest Bitcoin mining pools, announced the launch of its Miner Support Program, which will give eligible miners access to up to $30 million* in financing, fee relief, and partner benefits.

The company said the program is being introduced during one of the most difficult profitability periods for Bitcoin miners. Bitcoin’s hashprice, a key measure of mining revenue per unit of computing power, has fallen to approximately $28/PH/day, according to CoinShares Q1 2026 data. That level represents a 50% decline from its October 2025 peak and an all-time post-halving low.

Hashprice is closely watched by miners because it reflects the revenue produced by deployed hashrate before operator-specific costs such as power, hosting, financing, and fleet efficiency are considered. After a Bitcoin halving, miners receive fewer new bitcoins per block, making fee levels, network difficulty, energy costs, and hardware performance more important to operating margins.

An estimated 252 EH/s has been taken offline, according to Hashrate Index data cited by CoinCentral in April 2026, as operators using older-generation mining hardware found their margins were no longer viable. The sector has also recorded three consecutive negative difficulty adjustments, the first such streak since July 2022, reflecting broad pressure across Bitcoin mining operations.

EMCD, which has operated its mining pool since 2017 and processed more than 4,550 BTC mined by its users in 2025, said it views the current period as both a stress test and a structural opportunity for operators that remain active.

Program Structure

EMCD said the Miner Support Program combines restructured fees, negotiated hardware and infrastructure deals, and access to its liquidity and yield products. The company described the initiative as a toolkit designed around the operating needs of mining businesses and said it is available to operators in any region.

Miners facing cash-flow pressure can access EMCD’s secured liquidity facilities at 3.9% APR to help cover operating costs without selling assets into a down market. EMCD said its products differ from generic crypto-backed credit lines because they are structured around mining-specific cash-flow cycles and are bundled with the broader program. The company said the effective cost of capital may be reduced further when financing is combined with fee relief and hardware savings, rather than assessed on the stated rate alone.

Miners seeking to protect margins on block production can also apply for zero pool commission for 60 days, lowering overhead while hashprice remains depressed. Operators running older or underperforming hardware can access preferential pricing on Vnish firmware, which EMCD described as a leading third-party ASIC optimization software product. Miners looking to expand or relocate capacity can receive special terms on equipment and data center services through EMCD’s partner network.

The structure places the program across several cost centers that typically affect mining economics, including pool fees, equipment efficiency, hosting arrangements, and short-term liquidity. EMCD said eligibility and available terms will depend on the support being sought and the partner offers available through the program.

Partner Participation

EMCD is inviting hardware manufacturers, data centers, and hosting providers to participate in the program by offering exclusive terms to eligible miners. Partner applications can be submitted through the program website:

“We’ve been through every cycle in this industry since 2017 — the rallies, the winters, the halvings. What we’ve learned is that the operators who survive aren’t the ones who wait out the downturns. They’re the ones who use them. This program is our commitment to making sure our miners have the tools to do exactly that.” — Michael Jerlis, Founder & CEO, EMCD.

*The stated amount reflects the maximum aggregate value of support, including financing, fee reductions, and partner offers, that may be made available under the program and does not constitute a reserved fund.
