EMCD Launches Miner Support Program Offering Up to $30M in Support for Bitcoin Miners

Panama City, Panama, July 27, 2026 — EMCD, a global crypto-fintech platform and one of the world’s largest Bitcoin mining pools, announced the launch of its Miner Support Program, giving eligible miners access to up to $30 million* in financing, fee relief, and partner benefits.

The program is being introduced as Bitcoin miners face one of the sector’s sharpest profitability squeezes. Bitcoin’s hashprice, a key measure of mining revenue per unit of compute, has fallen to approximately $28/PH/day, down 50% from its October 2025 peak and at an all-time post-halving low, according to CoinShares Q1 2026 data. Hashprice is closely watched by miners because it reflects how much revenue a given amount of hashrate can generate before operating costs such as electricity, hosting, maintenance, and debt service.

An estimated 252 EH/s has been taken offline, according to Hashrate Index data cited by CoinCentral in April 2026, as operators using older-generation hardware found margins were no longer viable. The sector has also recorded three consecutive negative difficulty adjustments, the first such streak since July 2022. Difficulty adjustments are part of Bitcoin’s mining design and recalibrate how hard it is to find blocks as total network hashrate rises or falls.

EMCD has operated its mining pool since 2017 and processed more than 4,550 BTC mined by its users in 2025. The company said it views the current environment as both a stress test and a structural opportunity for operators that remain active.

Program structure

EMCD said the Miner Support Program combines restructured fees, negotiated hardware and infrastructure deals, and access to its liquidity and yield products. The package is designed around mining business operations and is available to operators in any region.

Miners under cash flow pressure can access EMCD’s secured liquidity facilities at 3.9% APR to cover operating costs without selling assets into a down market. EMCD said its products differ from generic crypto-backed credit lines because they are structured around mining-specific cash flow cycles and bundled with other program benefits, including fee relief and hardware savings.

Miners seeking to protect margins on each block can apply for zero pool commission for 60 days, reducing overhead while hashprice remains depressed. Operators using older or underperforming hardware can also receive preferential pricing on Vnish firmware, described by the company as the market’s leading third-party ASIC optimization software.

For miners looking to expand or relocate capacity, the program provides access to special terms on equipment and data center services through EMCD’s partner network. In a period when power contracts, machine efficiency, firmware optimization, and hosting availability can determine whether mining fleets remain online, bundled support programs are aimed at reducing friction across several operating inputs rather than addressing pool fees alone.

Partner participation

EMCD is inviting hardware manufacturers, data centers, and hosting providers to participate in the program by offering exclusive terms to eligible miners. Partner applications can be submitted at

“We’ve been through every cycle in this industry since 2017 — the rallies, the winters, the halvings. What we’ve learned is that the operators who survive aren’t the ones who wait out the downturns. They’re the ones who use them. This program is our commitment to making sure our miners have the tools to do exactly that.” — Michael Jerlis, Founder & CEO, EMCD.

*The stated amount reflects the maximum aggregate value of support, including financing, fee reductions, and partner offers, that may be made available under the program and does not constitute a reserved fund.
