Michael Saylor: AI-Designed Financing Tools Helped Us Sell $15 Billion
Strategy founder Michael Saylor @saylor said in an August 6 interview with The Diary Of A CEO that he had "used AI to make $15 billion." He then explained that by early 2025, Strategy held about $30 billion in Bitcoin, but had nearly exhausted its capacity to issue convertible bonds and could no longer scale that approach.
The company then used AI to design STRK, a convertible preferred stock backed by Bitcoin. After a $2.5 billion IPO, Strategy sold another $8 billion through a shelf registration, plus $4 billion through another instrument, bringing total credit instrument sales to about $15 billion.
