Seaspan Energy dépasse 150 opérations de soutage GNL et se classe septième au niveau mondial par volume

Seaspan Energy a effectué sa 150e opération de soutage GNL de navire à navire moins de deux ans après le lancement de ses activités et se classe désormais septième au niveau mondial par volume de soutage GNL, selon les derniers classements LANSDOWNE Moritz.

Depuis sa première opération de soutage GNL de navire à navire au port de Long Beach en décembre 2024, Seaspan Energy exploite ses trois navires-avitailleurs de GNL sur la côte ouest et réalise désormais en moyenne 12 opérations de soutage GNL par mois. En collaboration étroite avec les principales parties prenantes afin d’obtenir toutes les autorisations nécessaires, Seaspan Energy dessert des navires de croisière, porte-conteneurs, transporteurs de voitures et pétroliers dans les ports de Vancouver, Nanaimo, Royal Roads, Long Beach et Seattle.

Plus de la moitié des opérations de soutage GNL de Seaspan Energy ont eu lieu au port de Vancouver, renforçant la position du port comme porte d’entrée de premier plan pour les navires propulsés au GNL et les carburants marins de remplacement.

Seaspan Energy livre fièrement du GNL produit en Colombie-Britannique et provenant de l’installation Tilbury LNG de FortisBC afin de contribuer à répondre à la demande mondiale croissante de carburants marins à plus faibles émissions.
