XRP has staged a notable recovery this week, and Black Swan Capitalist co-founder Vandell Aljarrah is cautioning late buyers against chasing the rally. In his view, another pullback will offer a better entry point.

At press time, XRP is trading at $1.61, up 6.68% over the past 24 hours. The token has gained 24% over the past week and 9% over the past month, though it remains down roughly 12% year-to-date.

XRP Rebounds After 26% Pullback

The latest recovery follows a volatile stretch that began with the token sliding to $0.978 in August. That decline marked a low before XRP broke above $1.70 in the third week of August, a move from trough to peak worth roughly 72%.

XRP subsequently surrendered part of those gains, falling 26.6% to approximately $1.2468. The token has since recovered, climbing back above $1.60 after trading near $1.65 on Tuesday evening.

Aljarrah expects the recent rebound to be followed by another decline, which he argues would give investors who missed the earlier move a fresh opportunity to enter.

"If you haven't accumulated the amount you wanted, don't let this move lure you in. Sit tight. This pump is not your entry. A pullback will come. That's how these transitions develop."

XRP Could Establish Higher Lows

Aljarrah's outlook does not necessarily imply that XRP would revisit its August low if another pullback materializes. If XRP reaches $2 before the next decline, for example, a pullback toward $1.50 could still represent a higher low compared with the $1.2468 level recorded during the latest correction.

In technical analysis, a higher low describes a trough that forms above its predecessor, a structure commonly read as a sign an asset is retaining gains as it moves higher.

He also acknowledged that market timing can be difficult. A pullback does not have to occur at the levels traders anticipate, leaving investors who wait for a specific entry price at risk of missing further gains.

His comments come as the broader crypto market gradually enters a bull cycle.

Bitcoin Leads Crypto Recovery

Bitcoin broke above $87,000 on Tuesday, reaching its highest level in nine months. The leading cryptocurrency has also recovered substantially from its July low of $57,800. At press time, Bitcoin was trading around $86,500, up more than 49% from that July level.

The wider market has strengthened as well, with total market capitalization approaching $3 trillion. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index currently stands at 77, a reading in the greed zone. The index condenses signals such as volatility, momentum, and social activity into a single 0-to-100 gauge of market mood, and its current score points to elevated optimism — the backdrop against which Aljarrah is urging restraint.

Several large-cap altcoins have posted strong weekly gains. UNI has risen about 64% over the past week, while NEAR has gained approximately 92%.

Taken together, Aljarrah's comments suggest the recent rally may not mark the final opportunity for buyers. However, whether another pullback occurs — and where it might bottom — remains uncertain, as does whether XRP can hold its reclaimed ground above $1.60 while sentiment sits in greed territory.
