XRP Rebounds Toward $1.45 as ETF Inflows Rise Ahead of CLARITY Act Vote

XRP recovered toward $1.45 on Sept. 15 as traders prepared for a key procedural vote in the U.S. Senate on the CLARITY Act. The token rebounded from support between $1.30 and $1.35 after several volatile sessions and has gained more than 40% over the past month as expectations surrounding the legislation supported demand.

The immediate price focus is resistance near $1.50. A sustained move above that level could bring $1.60 and $1.80 into focus, followed by the more ambitious $2.10 target if XRP holds above key support.

XRP Tests the $1.45 Area

XRP rose more than 8% in 24 hours and was testing the $1.47 region after recovering from the $1.30 area. On the four-hour chart, the token formed a double-bottom structure after buyers defended the $1.31-to-$1.35 demand zone. XRP also moved above the pattern’s neckline near $1.37.

Analysts are watching the $1.50 and $1.60 levels if the move continues. The Money Flow Index was near 63, indicating that buying pressure exceeded selling pressure on the four-hour chart. A move below $1.32, however, would weaken the pattern and shift attention back to $1.30.

XRP has also held above its 200-day exponential moving average, which was roughly $1.36. Analysts said the token was testing the upper boundary of a descending consolidation after holding support near $1.32. A confirmed breakout from the falling trendline could open a move toward the $1.80 target shown on the chart, while stronger momentum could extend the move toward $2.10. The relative strength index was near 57, indicating positive momentum without reaching overbought territory.

Spot XRP ETF Inflows Reach About $1.7 Billion Cumulatively

U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds recorded about $18.98 million in inflows during the week from September 7 to September 11. Separate figures showed roughly $19 million entering the funds between September 8 and September 10.

The funds maintained positive flows despite broader weakness across several crypto investment products. During part of the same period, Bitcoin and Ethereum funds recorded combined outflows, giving XRP a stronger relative flow profile. Recent industry data put cumulative XRP ETF inflows at roughly $1.7 billion. The weekly figures and the cumulative total measure different time frames, but both are being used to track demand for the investment products.

XRP has gained more than 30% against Ethereum over the past month, and the XRP/ETH ratio has risen from its August levels. The ETF inflows and the relative performance have become part of the market discussion ahead of the CLARITY Act vote.

Senate Procedural Vote on CLARITY Act Set for Sept. 15

The U.S. Senate plans to hold a procedural vote on the CLARITY Act on September 15. Senators will vote on cloture for the motion to proceed to H.R. 3633, rather than on final passage of the bill. The procedural step requires 60 votes before lawmakers can move the legislation toward floor consideration. That makes the vote a checkpoint on whether the bill can advance, not a decision that would immediately enact its proposed provisions.

Republicans hold 53 Senate seats, meaning the measure still needs Democratic support. Lawmakers released revised text before the vote that included changes involving ethics rules, DeFi oversight and other digital asset provisions.

Prediction markets have shown higher approval odds than earlier in September, increasing short-term attention around XRP. The regulatory debate is relevant to the token’s outlook because the bill seeks to establish clearer federal boundaries for digital asset oversight. A successful vote on September 15, however, would only advance the legislative process.
