At the center of the program is a live demonstration: a working home miner running on-site throughout the evening. Rather than presenting a rendered mock-up, the project intends for attendees to watch the hardware in operation — hashing, giving off heat, and producing audible fan noise. For a network whose security layer rests on Proof of Work, putting running unit in the room acts as a publicly observable check on the hardware claims — a format the project itself describes as “something you don’t see at every side event.” The device is built to make cryptocurrency mining accessible without reliance on industrial-scale warehouse infrastructure.

The schedule begins at 6:00 PM with registration and welcome drinks. Opening remarks follow at 6:40 PM, and at 6:50 PM a keynote titled “Proof of Work in 2026” takes the stage. For the technically inclined, a session on XPHERE's dual-chain architecture and an open Q&A with the project's engineers are on the agenda. XPHERE's architecture splits consensus responsibilities between two chains. A Proof of Work-based Proof Chain, secured by the xpHash algorithm, handles network security and validator selection, while a PBFT-based Main Chain provides approximately one-second finality together with EVM compatibility. Hybrid designs of this kind pair mining-based security with fast settlement, an approach aimed at serving both network integrity and the consumer applications built on top.
