WiseTech Global (ASX:WTC), a developer of logistics execution software and supply chain technology, said Evergreen Line has expanded its long-standing electronic Bills of Lading (eBL) partnership with Bolero, a WiseTech Group company, to make Evergreen Line eBLs available through Bolero’s Galileo platform.

The company said the arrangement extends Evergreen’s eBL capabilities beyond its own customer network to what it described as the industry’s largest community of freight forwarders, shippers, consignees, logistics providers and financial institutions connected through WiseTech’s CargoWise, INTTRA and Galileo ecosystem.

WiseTech said Galileo is Bolero’s digital platform for securely exchanging, managing and controlling the lifecycle of eBLs and related trade finance documents. The company said the system is designed so that, as cargo moves, the verified documentation needed to release it and settle trade finance moves as well.

The platform is based on the Digital Container Shipping Association’s (DCSA) API v3.0 standards. WiseTech said Evergreen customers will benefit from faster document transfer, improved visibility, reduced administrative effort and stronger support for trade finance processes.

Evergreen has already been using Bolero technology to provide Intelligent Bills of Lading (iBLs) within its customer network for more than seven years, according to the announcement. By also publishing eBLs to Galileo, Evergreen said it is enabling trusted exchange of trade documents across all participants in the chain. CargoWise and INTTRA customers can now request and access Evergreen eBLs through existing workflows and connected trade networks, which the companies said should accelerate document processing and support the continued digitalization of global trade. For carriers and logistics providers, the integration also reflects a broader industry shift toward interoperable digital documentation, as shipping lines and trade platforms work to reduce reliance on paper and improve coordination across international shipment handoffs.

Evergreen said it is committed to simplifying global trade through secure and innovative digital solutions. The company said expanding access to eBLs through digital platforms and adopting DCSA’s eBL standards increases interoperability across the supply chain while providing a more efficient and seamless experience for customers and partners. Evergreen also said it aims to reduce reliance on paper documentation while improving speed, security, transparency and operational efficiency across the shipping industry.
