Weekly non-fungible token (NFT) sales rose 0.90% to $39.85 million in the seven days ending Oct. 10, with Ethereum retaining its lead among blockchains and Pudgy Penguins posting the steepest climb among major collections, according to data from CryptoSlam.
CryptoSlam's seven-day dashboard, checked on Oct. 10, recorded total NFT sales of $39,853,744. The modest increase in dollar volume came alongside a sharp contraction in participation: the tracker logged 30,332 buyer addresses, down 85.33%, and 30,598 seller addresses, down 84.45%. Transactions fell 6.92% to 778,055 from the prior seven-day period. The combination left the week's dollar total concentrated among a much smaller base of active addresses than in the prior period.
Based on the dashboard totals, the average recorded transaction value was approximately $51.22 — a per-trade figure far below the six-figure individual sales in the week's top-five list, underscoring how unevenly dollar value was spread across the period's activity. Separately, CoinGecko listed Bitcoin near $82,768 and Ethereum around $2,494 on Oct. 10, with total cryptocurrency market capitalization at approximately $2.89 trillion.
Ethereum Leads Blockchain Rankings
Ethereum ranked first with $17,604,074 in seven-day sales, an increase of 4.52%, accounting for approximately 44.2% of the global NFT sales total. The network recorded 4,254 buyer addresses, down 85.84%. Its separately tracked wash-trading volume rose 12.45% to $1.15 million, bringing combined sales and wash volume to $18.76 million.
Polygon held second place with $8,622,07 in sales, up 5.76%, as buyer addresses declined 78.88% to 10,055 — a ranking carried almost entirely by a single collection, detailed below. The dashboard also identified $19.03 million in Polygon wash trading, down 17.86% — a category representing 68.81% of the network's combined $27.65 million volume and kept separate from its ranked sales figure. Wash trading, as tracked by CryptoSlam, generally refers to transactions that inflate volume without a genuine change of ownership.
Bitcoin followed in third place with $3,547,457 in sales, down 7.33%. Its buyer count dropped 88.02% to 1,243, while wash volume declined 2.42% to $80,297. The largest individual transaction on CryptoSlam's weekly list came from Bitcoin's $8888 BRC-20 NFTs collection, representing approximately 9.2% of the network's weekly NFT sales. BRC-20 NFTs are inscriptions recorded directly on the Bitcoin blockchain, a format distinct from the smart-contract tokens that underpin most NFTs on networks such as Ethereum.
Immutable ranked fourth with $2,643,301, an increase of 22.06%. Its buyer addresses fell 84.82% to 823, while recorded wash trading totaled just $47.
Base took fifth place with $2,402,530 in sales, up 27.87%. Buyer addresses declined 92.68% to 247, and separately recorded wash volume rose 79.91% to $4.80 million — roughly double its ranked sales figure.
BNB Chain placed sixth with $1,801,744, down 16.26%, as buyer addresses fell 92.67% to 1,381. Solana followed with $1,574,984 in sales, a 10.51% decline, with its buyer count dropping 88.49% to 5,373.
Together, the six leading blockchains generated approximately $36.62 million, or 91.9% of the global sales total.

Courtyard recorded 133,068 transactions, an increase of 7.52%, while buyer addresses fell 7.50% to 19,547 and seller addresses declined 3.96% to 15,397.
Courtyard says its digital collectibles represent physical items held in its vault, with owners able to request delivery. Its shipping documentation states that packages within the United States generally arrive within about 10 business days of invoice processing.
Ethereum-based CryptoPunks, among the longest-running collections in the NFT market, ranked second with $2,452,755 in sales, up 24.45%. Transactions increased 23.81% to 26, while buyer addresses remained unchanged at 18.
Pudgy Penguins placed third with $1,496,813, a 125.66% increase that outpaced every other top-seven collection posting a weekly comparison. The collection's buyer count rose 54.10%, while its seller count increased 101.64% — a gain that came with increases across transactions, buyers, and sellers alike.
