Verizon announced the availability of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max on September 11, 2026, alongside a new option allowing customers to upgrade to a new iPhone each year without trading in their current device. The carrier said the offering is designed to simplify the upgrade process and provide more predictable costs than traditional trade-in programs.

The iPhone 18 Pro features a redesigned 48MP Fusion main camera with a variable aperture and is powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip. Apple says the chip delivers the greatest sustained performance in iPhone history. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is described as offering the biggest improvement in battery life in iPhone history.

Both models support Apple Intelligence and the new Siri AI, described as a completely new version of Siri that will launch in beta with iOS 27. The phones are available in four finishes: black, silver, glacier, and wine.

Verizon’s new Simplicity Pro plan includes unlimited 5G Ultra Wideband data, 10GB of premium hotspot data, and standard roaming in Canada and Mexico. The plan costs $80 per month after Auto Pay and switch discounts, plus taxes and fees. Customers enrolled in Verizon Loyalty can have activation and upgrade fees waived.

Under the annual upgrade option, customers can obtain an iPhone 18 Pro without trading in an existing device. They can then return the phone in good working condition to upgrade to a new model each year. Customers who prefer a conventional trade-in can receive up to $1,200 off a new iPhone with an eligible trade-in and a new line on an eligible myPlan, or up to $1,020 for upgrades on existing lines.

Verizon is also offering a bundle in which customers who purchase a new iPhone—or bring their own device—with a new line can receive an Apple Watch and an iPad through monthly credits issued over 36 months.

The carrier also introduced the iPhone Duo, which it described as the first foldable iPhone. The device opens to a 7.6-inch internal display and closes to a 5.4-inch external display. It is powered by the A20 Pro chip, runs iOS 27, and is offered in star white and night sky.

Preorders for the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5 begin September 12 at 8 a.m. ET. Broad availability is scheduled for September 18. Preorders for the iPhone Duo begin October 16.

Verizon Loyalty is available to all postpaid customers on any plan. The program provides 3% back each month in Verizon Dollars, which can be redeemed for devices and accessories or used with multipliers at top brands. It also includes Verizon Shine, which offers weekly chances to win experiences and daily drops. Customers can enroll through the My Verizon app.
