TxFlow said an independent security audit by OpenZeppelin has been completed as the project continues developing its Layer 1 network, decentralized exchange, and builder ecosystem.
OpenZeppelin, which TxFlow described as one of the world’s most established blockchain security firms and a trusted security partner for organizations and protocols including Coinbase, the Ethereum Foundation, Uniswap, Aave, Arbitrum, ZKsync, Compound and others, reviewed TxFlow’s bridge contract. The bridge is a critical part of the infrastructure that supports movement of capital between external networks and TxFlow L1. That focus carries weight in the wider industry, where cross-chain bridges have repeatedly ranked among the most-exploited categories of crypto infrastructure and security researchers have attributed billions of dollars in losses to bridge exploits in recent years.
According to TxFlow, OpenZeppelin identified zero critical findings and zero high-severity findings. One medium-severity finding was identified and resolved during the audit process.
The company said the review is part of a broader effort to bring in outside security expertise as its financial infrastructure and ecosystem develop. In addition to TxFlow DEX and continued L1 development, TxFlow is also building Builder Code, with more details to be announced as the initiatives move closer to release. TxFlow said these efforts support its goal of building a Layer 1 designed specifically for financial markets, bringing trading, liquidity and financial applications onto one blockchain.
Security at TxFlow L1 is a continuous responsibility
TxFlow said it works with independent security experts to assess its infrastructure. In 2026, OpenZeppelin completed a security audit of Bridge2, the USDC bridge connecting Arbitrum One to TxFlow L1. The company said it intends to keep strengthening its security architecture, monitoring and operational safeguards as the network evolves. That approach matches common industry practice: independent audits are widely treated as point-in-time assessments that reduce, but do not eliminate, risk, which is why repeated reviews and continuous monitoring have become standard for blockchain infrastructure. The audit report, which includes the technical scope, findings and OpenZeppelin’s assessment, is available for the community to review.
TxFlow’s broader bridge infrastructure supports deposits and withdrawals across Arbitrum One, Ethereum, Base, Polygon PoS and Solana. Its documented bridge flow includes controls around fund movement, including validator-approved withdrawals and a built-in safety wait before withdrawals are completed.
TxFlow said these measures are part of its approach to protecting capital movement between networks, one of the most important functions of financial infrastructure.
Global-grade security from the ground up
TxFlow said it is building its security program to meet the standards expected of serious financial infrastructure. To support that approach, it engaged OpenZeppelin, which said it has completed more than 900 security audits and identified more than 10,000 issues, including 700+ critical and high-severity vulnerabilities, across blockchain protocols and financial infrastructure.
OpenZeppelin’s work spans major crypto organizations and ecosystems including Coinbase, the Ethereum Foundation, Uniswap, Aave, Arbitrum, ZKsync, Optimism and Compound, as well as financial institutions and infrastructure providers including DTCC, Fidelity Digital Assets, WisdomTree, ANZ and CACEIS.
TxFlow said working with recognized security specialists early in the network’s development establishes an approach centered on independent review of critical infrastructure as the ecosystem grows. The company added that security is not an add-on to financial infrastructure, but part of the infrastructure itself.
Building infrastructure for on-chain finance
TxFlow L1 is designed specifically for financial markets and applications.
TxFlow DEX, a fully on-chain central limit order book for perpetual markets, is the first application built on TxFlow L1. The DEX is the first product operating on a broader infrastructure layer. TxFlow L1 is designed to support multiple financial applications and markets on the same network, including perpetuals, spot markets, prediction markets and new categories of on-chain financial products.
