RWA Platform tx Launches USTX Dollar Stablecoin for Tokenized Stock Trading
Key Takeaways
- •Real-world asset platform tx has launched USTX, a US dollar stablecoin created for its wallet and a planned marketplace for tokenized stocks.
- •Fintech firm Brale issues USTX and manages its reserves, with each token backed by $1 in assets such as cash, bank deposits, government money market funds and short-term US Treasury bills.
- •Users mint and redeem USTX through Circle's USDC, and tx accepts deposits from eight blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana and Base.
- •Eligible USTX users may receive rewards via tx's wallet programs, which the company says were designed with legal advice to comply with the GENIUS Act's ban on paying interest solely for holding a payment stablecoin.
- •The launch reflects a wider trend of blockchain networks and trading platforms issuing native dollar stablecoins through outside providers to support buying assets, settling trades and posting collateral.

Real-world asset (RWA) platform tx has launched USTX, a US dollar stablecoin built for its wallet and a planned marketplace for tokenized stocks, which represent shares of traditional equities as blockchain-based tokens.
Users mint USTX with USDC, the dollar stablecoin issued by Circle, and can redeem the token back into USDC, the company said in a Tuesday announcement shared with Cointelegraph. The platform accepts deposits from eight blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana and Base.
“It is not a USDC-backed wrapper or synthetic representation of USDC,” Ashley Ebersole, tx’s co-founder and chief legal officer, told Cointelegraph. USDC serves as the route for minting USTX, which maintains its own 1:1 reserve structure through Brale, he said.
Fintech platform Brale issues USTX, manages its reserves and facilitates minting and redemption. According to tx, each token is backed by $1 in assets, including cash, bank deposits, government money market funds and short-term US Treasury bills.
Brale said in June that it was working with Visa to improve the speed and programmability of blockchain-based stablecoin settlement in environments where privacy, compliance and operational control are essential.
The launch reflects a broader trend of blockchain networks and trading platforms rolling out their own dollar stablecoins through outside providers that handle issuance and reserve management. Native stablecoins give users a common dollar balance for buying assets, settling trades and posting collateral across a network. For tx, USTX is designed to serve as that dollar balance for the planned tokenized-stock marketplace, which has yet to go live.
Some stablecoin providers also share reserve earnings with clients. Eligible USTX users may likewise receive rewards through tx’s wallet programs.
The GENIUS Act, the US stablecoin legislation signed into law in July 2025, prohibits stablecoin issuers from paying holders interest or yield solely for holding, using or retaining a payment stablecoin.
“The overall rewards program was designed based on legal advice to ensure it falls within what’s permissible under the law,” Ebersole said when asked how the rewards comply with the restriction.
