Tokenized real-world assets (RWA)—blockchain-based digital representations of traditional financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, commodities, and government securities—expanded sharply across blockchain networks over the past month, with Robinhood Chain emerging as the fastest-growing platform, according to data released by the RWA Foundation.
Robinhood Chain's tokenized asset value climbed to $323.7 million, representing an 11,416.2% increase over the trailing 30-day period. The network also surpassed 244,000 RWA holders during the same timeframe, signaling rapidly broadening retail participation.
Larger blockchain networks posted steady gains as institutional adoption continued to build. Avalanche's RWA value rose 22.6% to $2.5 billion, while BNB Chain increased 16.5% to $9.2 billion.

RWA Adoption Broadens Across Networks
Multiple other blockchain networks recorded meaningful growth. Tempo, Monad, and Plume each posted strong monthly increases, according to RWA Foundation data. Cardano's tokenized real-world asset value rose 23.1% to $55.3 million, while Sonic Labs, Fraxtal, and TON expanded with monthly gains ranging from 6.4% to 22.1%.
Ethereum remained the dominant blockchain for tokenized RWA, holding more than $17 billion in on-chain value. The total number of RWA holders climbed to 1.09 million, up from approximately 375,000 one year earlier. Tokenized stocks reached a record $9 billion in transfer volume during June.

Growth was also reflected in tokenized US Treasury instruments. Avalanche's tokenized Treasury assets increased 68% over the past 30 days to $842 million.
RWA Trading Becomes Hyperliquid's Largest Market
The expansion of tokenized real-world assets has extended into decentralized trading platforms. On Hyperliquid, RWA markets became the exchange's largest trading category for the first time.
RWA-linked contracts generated $25.1 billion in trading volume between July 13 and July 19, accounting for 52% of Hyperliquid's total weekly volume of $48.2 billion. Tokenized stocks, indexes, and commodities collectively attracted more trading activity than all other asset categories on the platform combined, with individual equities making up 61% of RWA trading volume.
Lorenzo Valente, Digital Assets Research Director at ARK Invest, described the trend as the beginning of a new phase for decentralized finance. "We are entering a new era for DeFi," Valente said, noting that tokenized real-world assets could produce new market leaders as adoption broadens.
Analysts Point to Structural Shift
Circle co-founder Jeremy Allaire characterized the growth of tokenized RWA as a fundamental transformation for the cryptocurrency sector. "This is a major structural shift," Allaire said, adding that crypto markets are moving beyond speculation toward infrastructure that supports broader financial markets.
The rapid expansion of tokenized assets is intensifying competition among blockchain networks and crypto exchanges as firms vie for institutional users. The sustainability of this momentum will depend on factors including market liquidity, regulatory clarity, and continued demand for tokenized versions of traditional financial instruments.
