Nasdaq-listed Strive is showing no signs of slowing down its bitcoin accumulation. The company purchased 3,311 BTC over the past week, lifting its total holdings past the 30,000 coin threshold, according to a filing made public on Tuesday.

Strive's stock (ASST) was trading slightly lower on Tuesday. Unlike many treasury peers, however, its shares have performed well this year: year-to-date, ASST has climbed by close to 60%. A number of leading bitcoin treasuries have seen their stocks plummet this year after the price of bitcoin took a hit, and some have been forced to sell bitcoin or rethink their models altogether.

Based in Dallas, Texas, Strive debuted as an official bitcoin treasury last year, following in the footsteps of software company Strategy, the biggest corporate holder of bitcoin. The company has built its entire bitcoin position in the time since. Unlike Strategy, though, Strive has not used debt to buy the cryptocurrency. CEO Matt Cole has described the firm as debt-free, with zero margin requirements and zero encumbered bitcoin. That setup means no lender holds claims on the company's bitcoin — a structural difference that has taken on added relevance this year, as several treasury peers have been forced to sell.

As with other digital asset treasuries, the underlying idea is that investors can gain amplified returns from Strive's stock.

In January 2026, the company completed its acquisition of Semler Scientific in an all-stock deal — the first instance of a publicly traded bitcoin treasury company acquiring another such firm.

Strive was founded by Vivek Ramaswamy, a tech entrepreneur and former Ohio gubernatorial candidate.
