US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Near $1 Billion in Seven-Session Inflow Streak

US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have accumulated approximately $1 billion in net inflows over seven consecutive trading sessions.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $68.99 million in net inflows on Wednesday, bringing cumulative inflows since July 14 to $999.38 million, according to data from SoSoValue. The funds, which launched in January 2024 following SEC approval, have become a primary vehicle for institutional and retail investors seeking regulated exposure to Bitcoin without holding the asset directly.

The current seven-session streak remains below April's nine-session run, during which spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $2.1 billion in net inflows. Collectively, the eleven approved spot Bitcoin ETFs hold tens of billions in assets under management, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust and Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund consistently leading in daily volume.

Wednesday's inflows came in below Tuesday's $203 million as Bitcoin's price fell below $66,000. At the time of publication, BTC traded at approximately $65,729, down roughly 0.3% over the preceding 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index, a market sentiment gauge, slipped to a reading of 31 on Thursday, down from 33 on Wednesday.

"The consistency suggests institutions are rebuilding long-term Bitcoin exposure through regulated ETFs," Markus Levin, co-founder of XYO, a decentralized verification protocol, told Cointelegraph. Levin noted that improving macroeconomic sentiment, expectations for easier monetary policy, cooling inflation, and stronger equity markets have encouraged investors to rotate back into risk assets.
