  • •Liquidity at launch runs through Securitize's Solana-based automated market maker with Jump Trading as market maker, initially during extended hours before a planned transition to round-the-clock operation.
  • •The launch follows the SEC's innovation exemption and competing moves by Coinbase, the NYSE and an OKX-ICE venture, with Securitize tokens expected to trade on the planned NYSE 24/7 venue and OKX-ICE tokenized-securities venue once those launch.
Securitize Launches Tokenized Apple, Nvidia and Amazon Stocks on Solana

Tokenization platform Securitize has launched tokenized U.S. stocks backed one-to-one by real shares, opening with 12 of the largest names in American public markets, including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla and Microsoft. The product gives eligible crypto traders direct onchain exposure to widely held U.S. equities, and Solana is serving as the first network for the offering.

Announced Wednesday, the new Securitize Stocks product opens with security entitlements to 12 widely held names, including Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Google, Tesla, Meta, Amazon, Netflix, Circle, Strategy and Palantir. The tokens will initially trade on Securitize's registered broker-dealer platform on Solana, settling in the USDC stablecoin, and will be available to eligible investors in the United States, the European Union, and other permitted jurisdictions.

What sets the offering apart, the company said, is what sits behind each token. Rather than simply tracking a stock's price, as many offshore tokenized-equity products do, each Securitize Stock is backed one-to-one by an underlying share and represents a security entitlement under the Uniform Commercial Code. That structure preserves investor rights and economic benefits such as dividends and, where applicable, voting. The shares backing the tokens will not be lent out, and holders can convert their entitlements into actual registered shares where an issuer supports it.

"Tokenized stocks should give investors more than a price on a wrapper that tracks a stock and is only offered offshore," said Carlos Domingo, Securitize's chairman and CEO, framing the aim as bringing equities onchain "without leaving behind the ownership, investor protections and market infrastructure that make U.S. capital markets work." The access gap he points to is concrete for U.S.-based traders: wrappers offered only offshore sit outside their reach, while Securitize's tokens are distributed domestically to eligible buyers through a registered broker-dealer.

The trading infrastructure supporting the product is still expanding. At launch, liquidity will run through Securitize's Solana-based automated market maker, with Jump Trading serving as market maker. Trading will be available during extended hours ahead of a planned move to round-the-clock operation. The release also names a roster of partners, including Ripple Prime and Aave, as the tokenized assets become usable across onchain lending and collateral markets.

The launch lands amid a fast-accelerating race to put stocks on blockchain networks. Securitize's own shares have traded on Solana since the company's listing on the New York Stock Exchange in July, while the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's "innovation exemption" opened a compliant path for tokenized stocks. Rivals from Coinbase to the NYSE and an OKX-ICE venture have also moved into the space.

Securitize said its tokens are expected to trade on the NYSE's planned 24/7 venue and the OKX-ICE tokenized-securities venue, though neither platform has launched yet. In the near term, the watchpoints are operational: how liquidity holds up on the in-house Solana AMM with Jump Trading as market maker, and the planned transition from extended hours to round-the-clock trading.
