Gokongwei-led Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) has partnered with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to deploy two buses under the Love Bus program for commuter routes serving Bridgetowne and the Ortigas business district.
The buses will operate along key commuter corridors connecting the business districts of Quezon City and Pasig City, RLC said in a statement on Thursday.
“Robinsons Land recognizes the growing need for efficient mobility solutions that will help Filipinos navigate their daily travel challenge,” RLC President and Chief Executive Officer Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio said.
She said the initiative is designed to improve transport access in high-traffic areas and ease daily travel for workers, students, and residents.
The launch was attended by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, MMDA Chairman Romando S. Artes, Pasig City Mayor Victor Ma. Regis N. Sotto, Quezon City Mayor Maria Josefina Tanya G. Belmonte, and Antipolo City Mayor Casimiro A. Ynares III.
RLC executives present at the event included Executive Vice-President Faraday D. Go, Robinsons Malls Deputy General Manager Ma. Kristina Real-Lim, Head of Robinsons Destination Estates Gerald G. Tambis, and Vice-President for Public-Private Partnerships Bambie L. Andal.
