REP Labs, an applied cryptography and artificial intelligence firm backed by angel investors and advisors with experience at the Ethereum Foundation, Consensys, Symbiotic, BlackRock, and Mask & Lens Networks, has unveiled its first consumer application built on a verified-context graph. The release advances the company's broader effort to establish infrastructure for coordination in artificial intelligence-driven environments.
The initial product is oriented toward participants in the cryptocurrency sector. Users can consolidate contextual data from X, Polymarket, Hyperliquid, Ethereum, Base, and BNB Chain into a single profile supported by cryptographically verifiable activity. This authenticated context enables entry into communities organized around demonstrated accomplishments, ranging from prominent traders and builders to prediction market participants, while permitting projects to distribute incentives on the basis of verified behavior. A trader with a confirmed track record, for example, could automatically qualify for reduced decentralized exchange trading fees, exclusive rewards, or other ecosystem benefits.
The launch marks a significant milestone in REP's wider vision of creating infrastructure that allows people, businesses, and AI agents to coordinate through portable, verifiable context rather than fragmented signals tied to individual platforms. At the center of this vision is a graph that transforms cross-platform activity into contextual information that AI agents can query before taking action. Portable identity has been a longstanding goal of the decentralized web movement — the W3C maintains a Verifiable Credentials standard, and projects such as the Ethereum Name Service, Gitcoin Passport, and World ID have each tackled pieces of the problem. REP's bet is that the agent era demands something broader: a queryable graph of verified behavior spanning platforms, rather than a name, a wallet address, or a one-off proof of personhood.
The graph currently extends across more than 3.4 million users on four platforms and includes over 250,000 verified spenders. Within each supported ecosystem, REP has achieved monthly active wallet penetration rates of up to 20%, with verified-context mechanics already enabling real-world incentive distribution at scale. Until this release, such context existed within separate ecosystems. The new application is the first to unify it across multiple platforms into a user-owned profile.

Market Projections and the Roadmap for Agentic Coordination
The fragmentation of user context becomes an increasingly critical concern as artificial intelligence capabilities expand. Morgan Stanley estimates that by 2030, AI-powered shopping agents could account for 10–20% of electronic commerce spending in the United States, representing between $190 billion and $385 billion in annual transaction volume. McKinsey, meanwhile, projects that agentic commerce could orchestrate up to $1 trillion in domestic retail revenue and between $3 trillion and $5 trillion globally by 2030. Taken together, these forecasts indicate a future in which a meaningful share of purchasing decisions may be made not by consumers directly but by AI agents acting on their behalf.
Those projections are already shaping infrastructure work across the industry. In 2025, Coinbase open-sourced x402, a protocol that repurposes HTTP's long-unused '402 Payment Required' status code as a native rail for machine-to-machine payments, and Google introduced its Agent Payments Protocol (AP2) with backing from major payments and commerce companies. While those efforts focus on how autonomous agents pay, the adjacent open question is how agents decide whom to trust when they transact, hire, recommend, or admit.
If AI agents are to assume greater responsibility for purchasing, hiring, recommendation, and delegation decisions, they require access to portable, verifiable context regarding the individuals they represent and the counterparties they encounter before acting.
Future releases will expand platform support beyond cryptocurrency and introduce context-powered matching, recommendations, and discovery across a broader range of internet applications. How far that expansion travels will depend partly on factors outside REP's control: whether platforms beyond crypto permit the export of the user activity data such a graph depends on, and how portable-context layers interoperate with the agent payment and identity standards now being drafted across the industry.
The launch follows the recent completion of REP's angel funding round, with investors and advisors supporting the company's vision for portable verified context.
“We spent years proving that social graphs and identity could live outside platforms,” said Suji Yan, Steward at Mask & Lens Networks, in a written statement. “The agentic era is where that finally matters – agents need a way to know who they're dealing with, and humans need their context to be portable and theirs. That's why I'm backing REP,” he added.
“REP is trying to solve one of the biggest underlying problems for both crypto and the internet in general,” said Misha Putiatin, co-founder and CEO of Symbiotic, in a written statement. “Without a strong trust primitive, many services will become increasingly vulnerable to AI-generated noise, bots, and malicious actors,” he added.
“In traditional finance, context is everything: credit history, track record, relationships,” said Kevin Tang, the CEO of Hello Trade and a former director of digital assets at BlackRock, in a written statement. “Blockchain provides the cryptographic primitives to make that context portable and verifiable for the first time. As we move into the agentic economy, both humans and the agents acting for them need this layer. REP is building the foundation that economy needs,” he added.
