Philippine quantity surveying firm marks third consecutive year of recognition from RICS Southeast Asia

Quantity Solutions, Inc. (QSI), a quantity surveying firm based in the Philippines, has been named Highly Commended Research Team of the Year at the RICS Southeast Asia Awards 2026 for its Construction Cost Guidebook – Philippine Edition 2025. The awards were announced on 29 October 2026 at a ceremony held in Singapore.

Ms. Rhea Jamandre and Engr. Rynor Jamandre attended the ceremony in Singapore and accepted the recognition on behalf of the entire QSI team.

The research effort behind the Guidebook was led by Engr. Rynor Jamandre and Engr. Robert Alarcon, working in collaboration with QSI's costbook team.

According to QSI, the Guidebook was developed to address the need for reliable construction cost information in the Philippines. The initiative aims to improve cost transparency, support more accurate budgeting and cost planning, and help project owners and construction professionals make better-informed decisions. The firm added that the Guidebook also promotes ethical, evidence-based cost planning and informed procurement.

The firm was previously named Highly Commended Quantity Surveying Team of the Year in both 2024 and 2025, making the 2026 honor its third consecutive year of acknowledgment from RICS Southeast Asia — a run that also spans two distinct award categories, moving from quantity surveying practice to research.

Organized by RICS (the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), a global professional body for the built environment, the Southeast Asia awards recognize teams, individuals, and organizations across the region. QSI said the latest recognition belongs to the team behind the research and reflects the firm's commitment to advancing construction cost knowledge in the Philippine industry.

QSI is currently accepting reservations for the 2027 Edition of the Construction Cost Guidebook, indicating the series will continue beyond the award-winning 2025 Edition.
