Pump.fun Expands Beyond Solana With HyperEVM Token Trading
Key Takeaways
- •Pump.fun announced support for HyperEVM tokens on Aug. 26, extending its app beyond Solana.
- •Users can trade HyperEVM tokens through Pump.fun using USDC, and the company is offering referral rewards.
- •The platform has confirmed at least one available HyperEVM token, EGG, on its market page.
- •Pump.fun has not said whether users will need HYPE for gas fees or whether new HyperEVM token creation will be supported.
- •Hyperliquid recorded about $503 million in 24-hour decentralized exchange volume, while perpetuals trading was far higher over the same period.

Pump.fun has added support for HyperEVM tokens through USDC, extending its trading interface beyond Solana. The expansion coincides with heavy activity across the Hyperliquid network, which recorded roughly $503 million in decentralized exchange volume over 24 hours.
The company announced the integration on Aug. 26. Users can now buy and sell tokens issued on HyperEVM directly through the Pump.fun application.

Pump.fun Expands Trading Beyond Solana
Alongside the rollout, the platform is offering referral rewards to any user who trades through the provided links. Pump.fun described trading costs as near-zero, although no specific fee schedule has been revealed.
At the time of the review, one HyperEVM token was confirmed available: the market page for EGG notes that the token can be traded via Hyperliquid on Pump.
Pump.fun is a token launchpad built on the Solana network. It allows users to create and swap tokens without establishing a standard liquidity pool upon initial release. The platform has become tightly connected with meme tokens, with most assets using an automated bonding curve before being listed on a separate decentralized exchange. Since launching in early 2024, it has grown into one of the most heavily used consumer applications on Solana, and its weekly fee totals have regularly ranked among the highest of any on-chain application.
Support for HyperEVM adds an additional blockchain to the same trading interface, a step that fits a broader pattern of Solana-based applications expanding to additional networks. The current rollout covers existing assets only; the company has not provided information on whether users will be able to create new HyperEVM tokens through the platform. Token creation is central to Pump.fun's model on Solana, leaving open how closely the HyperEVM rollout will mirror the platform's original launchpad function.
The move expands Pump.fun's business beyond Solana. In the seven days before this report was published in August, the company earned approximately $10.03 million in fees from $2.97 billion in trading volume. About $5.02 million of that total was used to buy and burn 2.15 billion PUMP tokens. According to the company, 50% of its revenue is automatically repurchased and burned through a smart contract. That mechanism applies to platform revenue as a whole, so trading on any network Pump.fun supports contributes to the same repurchase flow.
How HyperEVM Connects With Hyperliquid
HyperEVM is an Ethereum-compatible smart-contract platform that operates inside the Hyperliquid blockchain. It runs alongside HyperCore, the component responsible for the order books of the spot and perpetual markets.
Users can run Ethereum-compatible dApps on HyperEVM, with HYPE serving as the gas token for transactions. Assets can be transferred from HyperCore to HyperEVM using Hyperliquid's transfer protocol; once transferred, they can be used within decentralized exchanges, lending platforms, and other applications.
Native USDC on HyperEVM was launched by Circle in September 2025. USDC was also expanded on HyperCore to enhance liquidity across both platforms.
The Pump.fun team has yet to clarify whether its platform will automatically account for HYPE gas fees. Users may have to keep separate HYPE balances, but nothing has been specified so far.
Hyperliquid Records Heavy Trading Activity
According to analytics platform DeFiLlama, there is approximately $1.59 billion in decentralized finance value on Hyperliquid L1. Stablecoins on the network total roughly $6.79 billion, with USDC accounting for close to 98% of that sum.
In the last 24 hours, the network handled approximately $503 million in decentralized exchange volume, with seven-day volume estimated at around $3.75 billion. Perpetuals trading occurred at much higher volume, amounting to approximately $12.43 billion over the last 24 hours and around $82.47 billion over seven days — roughly 25 times the corresponding one-day spot DEX figure, underscoring that derivatives remain the network's dominant activity.
Pump.fun did not specify which liquidity sources handle orders made on HyperEVM through its portal. It also did not clarify whether all tokens are automatically accessible or whether smart contract verification is required. Together with the unanswered questions on fees and HYPE gas, these details will determine how closely trading through Pump.fun on HyperEVM resembles the experience on Solana.
