Pricol Q1 Profit Rises 34% as Revenue Tops ₹1,100 Crore

Auto components maker Pricol reported a strong June quarter, with net profit rising 34% year-on-year and revenue increasing 24% as higher operating profit and a slight margin improvement supported performance despite cost pressures.

The Coimbatore-based company, which supplies driver information systems, oil pumps, telematics, and other components to two-wheeler and passenger vehicle manufacturers, has benefited from sustained demand across segments even as commodity costs remain elevated.

Net profit came in at ₹67.02 crore, up from ₹49.89 crore in the same period a year earlier.

Revenue rose to ₹1,105.44 crore from ₹895.34 crore.

EBITDA increased to ₹124.41 crore from ₹98.97 crore.

EBITDA margin improved to 11.25% from 11.05%.

The marginal margin expansion, achieved alongside double-digit revenue growth, reflects Pricol's ability to partially offset input cost inflation through operating leverage and productivity gains. Indian auto component suppliers broadly faced pressure from volatile raw material prices during the quarter, making margin hold a key metric for investors.
