Listed gaming technology company PhilWeb Corp. said its partner online gaming platform OKADA PLAY, operated in partnership with Okada Manila, generated more than P100 million in gross gaming revenue in October, driven by increased user activity.
In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, PhilWeb said the platform also surpassed 100,000 daily active users during the month — a metric that counts the unique users who engage with a platform on a given day. Both gross gaming revenue and daily active users rose approximately 50% from September, according to the company.
Gross gaming revenue refers to the amount retained from wagers after paying out winnings, before operating expenses and other deductions. The October figure represents gaming revenue generated by OKADA PLAY itself, rather than revenue directly attributable to PhilWeb. That distinction matters when weighing the announcement: PhilWeb supplies the technology and operational support behind its partner platforms, and the company's statements did not detail the commercial terms that determine how platform performance flows into its own reported revenue.
Launched in May 2026, OKADA PLAY operates on PhilWeb's online gaming platform, which provides gaming technology, content, service infrastructure, and operational support. The October milestone therefore arrived within months of the platform's launch.
"OKADA PLAY's strong performance demonstrates what can be achieved when a leading integrated resort brand is supported by scalable technology infrastructure. We are encouraged by the significant acceleration in October and believe the platform is well positioned for its next phase of growth," PhilWeb Chairman Lance Y. Gokongwei said.
PhilWeb said OKADA PLAY has moved beyond its initial launch phase and is focusing on expanding its customer base and gaming content. The platform currently offers more than 4,000 gaming titles from over 20 integrated gaming content providers.
Aside from OKADA PLAY, PhilWeb expects growth across its other partner platforms in the coming months. The company said additional platforms could also reach P100 million in monthly gross gaming revenue by the end of the year, although it did not identify them or provide specific revenue projections. The year-end period thus serves as a near-term checkpoint on whether the partnership model can produce additional platforms operating at that scale.
"The success of OKADA PLAY demonstrates the potential of a technology-driven partnership model that can support the digital expansion of established gaming operators," the company said.
PhilWeb said it plans to expand its technology infrastructure business through platform growth, strategic investments, and recurring revenue opportunities.
"Our long-term vision is to establish PhilWeb as a leading technology infrastructure group, combining organic platform growth, strategic investments, and diversified recurring revenue opportunities to create sustainable value for our partners and shareholders," Mr. Gokongwei said.
