Median fixed broadband download speed in the Philippines stood at 114.34 megabits per second (Mbps), below the global median of 129.68 Mbps. Median mobile download speed was 66.33 Mbps, also below the global median of 109.05 Mbps.
Because the index is built on medians, its figures capture the midpoint of user-measured speeds rather than peak performance, with half of recorded tests in each market falling above the reported number and half below. On that basis, the Philippines' rank gains still leave its median fixed broadband download 15.34 Mbps short of the global median and its mobile download 42.72 Mbps short, a gap that persists even as the country's standings improve.
