PaysafeWallet Launches in Poland, Bringing Digital Wallet Services to Polish Consumers

PaysafeWallet has officially launched in Poland, offering consumers a digital wallet experience that includes a personal debit card accessible directly from their mobile phones. The service is designed to align with the spending and lifestyle habits of a new generation of users. The move enters a market where consumers have already demonstrated strong appetite for mobile-first payment tools, with domestic system BLIK handling billions of transactions annually and international players like Revolut and PayPal holding established positions.

Poland already has strong adoption of PaysafeCard, and PaysafeWallet builds on that established foundation. The new wallet extends the trusted PaysafeCard experience into a broader, more comprehensive digital payment platform.

"Young consumers in Poland are digital natives and expect their money to move as fast as they do," said Bob Legters, Paysafe's Chief Product Officer. "PaysafeWallet gives them something that feels made for them: their own debit card on their phone, the freedom to pay, send and spend however they want, and the reassurance that cash is still an option when they need it. We're really excited about what we're building for this generation."

With PaysafeWallet, customers can manage their finances in one place. Key features include the ability to top up with cash, send money to friends in seconds, pay at stores and restaurants, spend online, send and receive bank transfers, and withdraw cash on demand. Each customer receives a personal payment account complete with an IBAN and a virtual debit card that functions wherever card payments are accepted. The cash-top-up feature is notable in Poland, where cash remains widely used despite rapid digital adoption.

Approximately 600,000 users have joined PaysafeWallet across Europe within the first 18 months of the service, reflecting strong consumer demand for payment solutions that integrate into everyday life. Paysafe says it remains committed to offering customers greater choice and flexibility, whether they prefer cash, card, or a combination of both.

Existing PaysafeCard account holders can access the new wallet by selecting the Wallet tab within their current app. New customers can download the PaysafeCard app for Android or iOS and complete the sign-up process in minutes.
