Origis Energy has achieved commercial operation of three additional phases at its Rockhound Solar complex in Ector County, Texas, bringing total operating capacity at the site to nearly 1 GW.

The newly commissioned phases add approximately 500 MW of solar capacity to the sprawling development. Upon full completion, the Rockhound complex is projected to surpass 2 GW of combined solar and storage capacity by 2029.
