Nordis Technologies, a fast-growing leader in omnichannel customer communications management and payments technology solutions, announced the launch of ExpressoPay One-Click, a new capability designed to instantly connect businesses and consumers and make it easier to collect digital payments and issue disbursements on the spot.
As digital payment adoption continues to grow, consumers increasingly expect financial interactions to be quick and convenient. ExpressoPay One-Click is intended to address those expectations by bringing billing and payments together, turning the messages businesses already send into opportunities for consumers to pay or receive a disbursement immediately.
“When consumers receive a communication and are ready to act, we want to make it as simple as possible in that critical moment,” said Christiane Freese-Jones, vice president, product innovation. “ExpressoPay One-Click makes two-way payment exchanges seamless. With one tap, consumers see the balance and choose how they want to pay or receive funds, whether by card, bank account or digital wallet, in seconds.”
For payments due and disbursements owed, such as refunds, settlements and payouts, Nordis uses the statement and balance data already provided by clients to generate a unique payment URL for each consumer, pre-populated with the balance. The personalized link or QR code is then incorporated directly into communications across channels including email, SMS and printed statements. That approach keeps the payment or disbursement request inside the existing communication flow, instead of requiring a separate login or manual account lookup.
The result is a more direct path to payment or disbursement. Instead of receiving a notification, navigating separately to a payment portal, locating account information and initiating a new transaction, consumers can move directly from the communication to a secure, personalized payment or disbursement experience with a single button. Consumers can also choose how they want to pay or receive funds using their preferred method, including digital wallet options, cards and bank accounts. Every transaction takes place in a secure, PCI-compliant payment environment.
“ExpressoPay One-Click is another step in our strategy to make every customer communication work harder for our clients,” said Nicole Miller, president and COO of Nordis Technologies. “We’re connecting communications and the movement of money in ways that create more value from interactions that are already happening every day. By bringing payments and disbursements directly into customer communications, our clients can deliver the more convenient experiences consumers expect.”
ExpressoPay One-Click complements clients’ existing services, allowing businesses to create a more convenient path to payments and disbursements without replacing their existing online portals. Because Nordis leverages the statement and balance files already used to create customer communications, a single data flow supports both multichannel statement delivery and personalized payment and disbursement experiences.
The platform also provides visibility across the billing-to-payment lifecycle, allowing clients to track cash flow at both the individual consumer and portfolio level. Nordis said this can help businesses better understand consumer engagement and financial preferences, which it described as critical to a successful financial strategy.
