NetVendor and Viaffinity Partner to Close Vendor Insurance Gaps at the Source

NetVendor, the platform behind Compliance-Led Vendor Management for property management, has announced a strategic partnership with Viaffinity, a provider of embedded insurance technology that enables SaaS platforms to integrate insurance directly into the customer experience. The collaboration is designed to give vendors flagged for expired or insufficient insurance a streamlined path to compliant coverage within NetVendor, converting one of the most common causes of onboarding delays into a same-session resolution.

Insurance verification represents the most frequent point of failure in vendor compliance. Property managers routinely depend on dozens to hundreds of third-party vendors across maintenance, landscaping, security, cleaning, and other trades, each required to carry specific coverage levels before stepping on site. When a certificate of insurance lapses or fails to meet an owner's requirements, the onboarding process stalls and properties are left carrying uncovered risk. Through the Viaffinity integration, qualifying coverage options are presented to vendors at the precise moment a gap is identified, allowing them to achieve compliance and begin work more quickly.

"Every compliance gap we track comes back to the same point of failure: insurance. NetVendor already catches that gap the moment it opens, but until now the fix meant sending vendors off to find that coverage and come back. With Viaffinity, we close it in the same motion we find it. Vendors get back to work faster, owners and operators carry less uncovered risk, and insurance stops being the reason a good vendor loses the job," said Dave Cooper, CEO of NetVendor.

The partnership reflects a broader movement in embedded insurance, where coverage is increasingly offered within the software workflows where needs arise rather than through separate broker interactions. By embedding insurance at the point a compliance gap surfaces, NetVendor and Viaffinity aim to remove the manual back-and-forth that typically delays vendor activation.

"Every software platform already has the context to make insurance simpler," said Mason Power, CEO and Co-founder of Viaffinity. "When insurance becomes part of the workflow instead of a separate destination, everyone benefits. Vendors resolve compliance issues immediately, property managers reduce operational friction, and insurance is delivered precisely when it's needed. Insurance shouldn't be the thing standing in the way of vendors winning RFPs."

The integration became available to NetVendor vendors beginning July 15, 2026. When an insurance coverage gap is identified, eligible vendors can transition seamlessly to Viaffinity to review coverage options and secure compliant insurance, then return to NetVendor to complete the compliance process.
